I don't like it personnally, because if it means the end of this OSL, then it's extremely sad for both parties players and fans overall... But then, when someone shoot you with a gun, are you gonna just reply by asking them gently to stop ? Some pull a gun and shoot back... Thats complete bullshit. You cannot possibly equate deciding not the participate in a tourney to completely pulling out of a tourney that you've already committed to, the Ro16 no less. It's a false equivalence. Whatever moral highground they might have gained resulting from KeSPA's move is all but done the gutter.

It is far too dangerous and high risk to just do something like that when KeSPA pays them handsome amounts of money. The players the same. What if the sponsors don't like how things are going, how they aren't getting international exposure, and want the team to defect?

If the qualifiers were held, due to their big numbers I suspect around half would be Kespa players getting through. Why...based on what? I've never seen proof that Kespa players are code A level.

Yes I understand why they're doing it but lets see who is getting hurt here, the players and OGN themselves who actually weren't at fault in the first place(NO OGN IS NOT KESPA DON'T YOU EVEN DARE TO ARGUE THAT), This is the fucking Ro16 for fucks sake its basically the middle of the tournament, at least for the GSL it was the damn qualifiers. also GOM IS NOT ESF, SAME AS OGN IS NOT KESPA No, this is not childish, this is the basic way any union works (and ESF is a player union). They apply pressure mostly be screwing a third-party up which is closely related to their actual target. (e.g. busdrivers on strike, leaving the customers with no means of transportation)

Their sponsors are situated in korea. Not everything is sponsored internationally. Korea has quite a good economy which can sustain itself.

I think we all hope that kespa is forced to allow their players to play in the code A qualifiers and the ESF players will rejoin OSL and this will all of been one giant pissing contest that kespa lost

Well, the telecom companies won't defect for sure, but even just 1 or 2 others (like Samsung) would have meant much.
