Of this list; few things stand out. Air Force Ace first of all, is a team that is to be discounted in future events as they're impeding any future recruits bringing a halt to their esport history.
So now..7 teams. Of the 7 teams, Team 8 does NOT have a sponsor, and run purely by kespa
. The CJ group isn't telecom. Could stand to gain from international exposure in some sectors. SK owns some brands that could use worldwide exposure. Like SK Hynix and SK C&C. Woongjin has subsidiaries Woongjin Energy and Woongjin Chemicals that are looking at the world market. Woongjin Foods might be able to do something. So only KT has zero interest in the world market. (I don't think CJ owns OGN though. OGN is owned by On-Media which is a subsidiary of Orion if you follow the wiki links.)
I've said this before and I'll repeat it again, with ACE disbanding, I would not be surprised if LG-IM hop on board as a new KeSPA member.
I'd also be looking at Lotte Group as well possibly joining, as they are a sponsor of MVP (albeit minor).

dont think so because they are talking about future plans of joining gsl

"About the future plan for joining GSL, KeSPA told “We don’t join GSL Season 5 because there has not been enough discussion prior to the event. If we discuss several issues prior to the event enough and if it could make some synergy with Proleague, we will join the future GSL.”
Yeah fuck kespa. I say now is a good time to throw the shit storm that the SC2 community is known for. Email/tweet/mail/call etc.. all the KESPA companies that are international, tell them you will boycot them until the end of time for being associated with kespa, have the koreans go apeshit, everyone go apeshit on KESPA and all the organizations that support it.

So I guess that confirms Kespa won't be in the GSL at all this year unless season 5 was a typo.

I hate the whole witch hunt thing that TL and especially reddit seems to have gotten fond of lately, but I think this is the one time it's needed. Make every KESPA companies life a living hell, make them lose business until they go bankrupt or disolve and make SC2 a better place by going away.

LOL yah thats not gonna happen, its like saying we can take down telus or rogers becuase we are butthurt about a video game

If season 5 is not a typo, which I can't really imagine, then Kespa has just confirmed the image that people have of them. Very disrespectful towards GOM imo.
|
Welp, KeSPA sucks. The sooner they become a non-factor the better.
EDIT: Infact, can't we just ignore them? Just pretend they don't exist and continue on just as things were 3 months ago. If they don't want to participate in the GSL or any foreign leagues, then they simply don't deserve the attention *shrug*. They're just a side attraction that should not have any impact anywhere else.

i just cannot believe that kespas behaviour isnt violating anthing in the contracts between them, blizzard and gom considering gom gave up one full year of exclusiveness so that kespa could start their transition to sc2

There's a reason blizzard is talking to them
|
Players should have the right to choose whether they will participate or not. That's the bottom line and everything else is secondary.
You think players have too grueling of a schedule? Fuck what you think. Ask them whether they can handle it. Respect their decision whether they accept or decline. But one thing that should never ever happen is taking away freedom from the players.

We don't know if it is or not, we still haven't had the statement from blizzard themselves. I'm assuming since there isn't one from blizzard they're either having serious talks with KESPA, or making some big PR statement to pretend that everything's alright.
