Think before you post. This should go without saying, there are so many people making absolutely idiotic comments in this thread. If you have nothing constructive to say, please don't say anything. |

Threads like these are always one big Stephano circlejerk

The diff is that stephano is finishing his contract with Millenium before jumping ship.

This was purely rumor and not much else. There is no way he or any player makes nearly that much. Only a few Brood War players would make that much, and that's only because BW is was easily one of the most popular professional sports in South Korea.

EG will win again when they ll use the Liquid Special Tactics: buy korean players to win tournaments/use White guys for sc2drama-casting-stream... things work like this so far. White guys sux in long term results vs koreans.

Only time will tell.. I hope he doesnt end up like Huk and ThoRZaiN. Then again he plays zerg, DRG even said it doesnt require practice Also I wonder what kinda partying will be going on at the EG house if Stephano moves in.. I wish I were their neighbors lol

I'm happy with what EG does. I don't necessarily find them sympathic, but they are investing in the foreign market.
They aren't preaching high-skilled Korean players, which they are 100% capable of buying, instead they go after the foreign talents / established players, providing them with the best environement and probably support. If anything they're helping the foreigner market.
Of course it's sad for foreigner teams that are losing their aces / best players, but that's how it is. I, for one, am glad EG signs every good foreigner instead of signing 5 Koreans.

They seem to take really good care of their players... Because they are hypocritical shady manipulative organization with a lot of money to buy everyone. I think we have a winner for the worst post of this thread. Care to back up any of these amazing claims? Hypocritical: Fire Orb for hateful remarks. Don't fire Idra for the same thing. Shady: Allegations by TSL coach that they didn't even talk to him before taking Puma. Manipulative: For some reason Idra, huk, and incontrol go out of their way to talk down about Naniwa because he's basically the only top foreigner to not embrace them. Money to buy everyone: Puma, JYP, Huk, Thorzain, and now maybe Stephano. When has Idra made racist remarks recently? In fact, since the Orb incident, when has Idra made hateful remarks of any kind? Random allegations by a coach who had a ton of drama surrounding him at the time doesn't quite cut it for an organisation being "shady" They dislike Naniwa, so does a ton of the community, I don't condone their actions in any way, but its not EG making the remarks, its their players. It's like saying TL endorse the Elephant in the Room article. Puma, JYP, Huk, Thorzain and Stephano doesn't equal everyone. It's not /that/ much of a ridiculous lineup either. +1
"French Canadians in general seem a bit off." He was on EG at the time, doesn't matter if recently, if EG cares, they should treat equally.
I would say acquiring players from other organizations without communication is shady. Difference of opinions I guess.
They are the 3 faces of EG. Why was Orb fired, he wasn't representing EG, he was expressing his own opinion. I don't condone his actions in any way. He dislike gay people, so do tons of ignorant people. Saying crap like that doesn't make it alright. Employees represent their employer so if some are fired for giving the company a bad rep, all should, unless EG doesn't mind being a dick to Naniwa...
That list isn't a ridiculous lineup, but I was just listing players EG used their money to acquire from other teams.

How interesting that TL mods wouldn't moderate for the off-topic discussion of general EG criticism and the EG curse. Funny how when EG signed suppy everyone was on EG's nuts but now I guess it's trendy again to hop on the hate wagon. Success breeds hate that is for damn fucking sure LOL. Derp a little harder at constructing arguments kids.
Most of EG criticisms are expressed correctly. Why do you want moderation? The fora exist for discussions, and many times people use to disagree during discussions. That's life bro.
It's neither hate, nor player bashing. It's just speaking.

I highly doubt the EG curse will affect StephanO to be honest. hes a self made player and changing teams will not affect him at all

It's neither hate, nor player bashing. It's just speaking. You have not said a single correct statement in that post.

Frat house will be perfect for stephanos practice style as well as EG.dirty cash

Does the sponsors of EG ever look into the community and try to find out, if EG is really a good advertising media? EG reputation is bad, who would really want to be associated with them?
If Stephano goes EG, I'll will lose another favorite player.

He's not his manager, he's a fan who cares (for free i think) about Stephano's "communication" (FB, Twitter, Chat moderation during stream).
