Stephano leaving Millenium, [possibly] to EG - Page 31

Think before you post. This should go without saying, there are so many people making absolutely idiotic comments in this thread. If you have nothing constructive to say, please don't say anything.

Even if he does, he's not gonna commit to the OSL or GSL or anything, he's already there and won't commit. He wants to play internationally, something none of those teams do. 2) He's not an asset for PL this season - at best he'd just play the ace matches as he has no BW experience. 3) There would be a significant language barrier.

I'm pretty sure he's already there, at least I saw him cast with Khaldor once. All this EG hate makes me sad though q.q Still my favourite team after mouz! And soon (hopefully) with one of my favourite players too ![]()

Shady: Allegations by TSL coach that they didn't even talk to him before taking Puma. Manipulative: For some reason Idra, huk, and incontrol go out of their way to talk down about Naniwa because he's basically the only top foreigner to not embrace them. Money to buy everyone: Puma, JYP, Huk, Thorzain, and now maybe Stephano. Hypocritical: Orb was only working with EG for casting, and not as a full time contracted player (as far as I know). Also, the details of the contract would specify whether terms were broken. Also, Idra might be BM, but I don't recall him ever dropping N-bombs on stream (although having not watched every hour of him, I could be wrong). Just because they might let Idra get away with some BM, doesn't mean it should be tolerated all the time. Also, Idra has definitely been more professional lately, even before the Orb incident. Shady: Those allegations were just that. The TSL coach had some problems with the conduct that EG refuted. This just boils down to whose word do you trust. It shouldn't be taken as evidence of anything. Manipulative: I fail to see how players personal feelings towards another player is manipulative. They are entitled to say and feel whatever they want about a player. How does this manipulate anything? Buying players: This is what is known as a 'contract'. Players are offered money to play for a team. Basically, every team buys players. And having a team with money like EG is a good thing for esports. It shows that the internal economy is strong enough to support full time players, and encourages other companies that sponsoring them is a worthwhile endeavor. No one says you have to like EG, but if you are going to hate them, just say "I don't like incontrol" or something. No need to further spread rumors because you need to find validation for your hatred

The stream overlays are a good example of how sponsors are put first, aesthetics second. I've never seen so much shit crammed on my screen at once. So, for a team or an organization, they don't have a particularly interesting legacy (think SlayerS, founded by Boxer!), and they don't seem to care about advancing players skill, just "ESPORTS" as some sort of consumable product, which, the way they're going about it, is pretty uninspiring to me. If SC2 was on ESPN, but it had an EG overlay, I wouldn't watch it. Basically I have problems with the EG overlay.

Didn't know money became "a bad thing" all of a sudden. I bet u if any other team would have made the same offer u would scream tears of happiness. I remember Naniwa getting a ton of shit recently because he talked about his motives for switching teams. The tone in this thread is quite different i must say.
