Think before you post. This should go without saying, there are so many people making absolutely idiotic comments in this thread. If you have nothing constructive to say, please don't say anything. |

EG is doing exactly what MYM and SK-Gaming did und what ultimately made the WC3-Scene collapse: They buy all the good players for sums nearly no other team can compete with, therefore driving up the price the players want as their salary and destroying all teams (both financially and with their in-game results) that don't have the funding that EG does.
Also, I really began to like Millenium and I was looking forward to rooting for the Underdog (that still had chances to upset big teams) in the next big team-league. They did a great job helping good players to become top-tier (stephano, feast and, to maybe a lesser extent also Adelscott and Diestar) and they made some really great dicisions picking up players like ForGG, that are now just wrecking face and popular and promising players like Dragon.
Now, when their roster begins to look really strong, EG comes and picks up Stephano, knowing that they can easily make him an offer Millenium can't match and Stephano can't refuse.
It's also really sad, cuz we see how much Millenium tried to keep Stephano and how much they've invested in him.
Of course, it's pretty stupid to blame either EG or Stephano, both are doing what they think is best for them, but I'm just not too fond of the situation and I can already see problems with that arise in the future. If SC2 esports can't survive the strains of capitalism, then it can't survive. There is no point in coddling it if it's actually that weak.
Well then I guess the US needs to be put down. Poor thing. End its suffering.

No matter, I think Stephano will continue to do well no matter where he goes.

Rofl, he just won WCS Sweden..
Also thorzain has always been a kind of shaky player with ups and downs, before he won dreamhack he hadn't won anything for many months.

I just put it out there for people, who wanted to argue finishing first, and to give a lil' insight into when they signed with EG. And to show that how they have done since signing with the team.

Woohoo! :D
If true (we all know it is) then this is great news for both parties.

Where is Thorzain winning Wcs Sweden which is one of the hardest right after korea?

So much for only taking one year off from college to win tournaments before going back.
And so much for winning tournaments once he joins EG (Just kidding, I'm sure he'll do fine)

It's all speculation until it happens. EG would make the most sense though. Foreigner teams have a salary and EG has the sponsorships to afford just about anyone. GL wherever he goes though^^ I think he is one of those players that will play well with any team, regardless if people think there is a team curse(which is just stupid imo).

I agree. With Stephano and ForGG on the team and the TSL partnership, Millenium was a really noteable team. Now it's ForGG and some lower-tier pros where most people even forget them being on that team.
Well, maybe my view is just too tainted by those dark clouds coming from the EG Lair.
Please let this just be TSLStephano...

Funny (or facepalm-worthy?) how the EG curse joke became a thing where there are people on two sides arguing if there is one or not.

I listed only the latest top finishes and when they stopped performing well. That's all I did, yes they have more results, but it should be mentioned that this is only meant to be a quick look, not indepth.
