However now this seems to be quite tricky. Control+F functions as a sort of "smart camera pan on/off" instead of "center camera on current selection". After realising this,I tried pressing it a second time to disable the "smart camera pan". Strangely enough it only disables after you hit it 3 times. This bug threw me off a lot during my first game in 1.5.
This needs more attention. I use control+f to center my hatches for injects and this bug totally throws me off my game. I've resorted to clicking the building portrait to center my camera instead but its inefficient and wastes clicks. How did so many bugs slip through the long beta test period is beyond me.

If you have all your hatcheries hotkeyed you can double click the hotkey and it will target the nearest thing in your selection group.

I can't even start downloading patch. I press starcraft.exe icon and instead of uploading a new patch - just appear in starcraft 1.4.4. version. and of course can't go b-net there. Any ideas why it happens?

Ok I have a theory. Profiles were bugged earlier in that you could view yourself as a league higher or lower (Blizz commented on this on the b.net forums). So maybe promotions weren't showing up. Perhaps the people losing tons of points are actually getting promoted, and it just hasn't shown up? Because you lose a lot of points when promoted.

I don't think I want to touch this patch with a long pole until it is sorted out...

in your frame of reference you might feel like you're standing still, but that doesn't mean that's actually the case! (in another frame of reference)

is there ANY way to revert the graphics to how lowest was pre 1.5? it's forcing higher res textures alogng with shading despite using the exact same options and not only do i find it distracting but it's giving me performance issues. completely unneeded. if they wanted to add SICK EXTREME graphics and leave it how it is for all the other settings, that's fine. but why are they forcing this? or is this a confirmed bug? don't even want to play right now do to this

If the new low graphic settings doesn't give more/the same fps as before the patch then I don't know what they are doing. If you guys who play on low wanted higher textures then you would just change the texture quality, right? This sucks for you who play on all low and liked/needed the "clay" feeling.
Wierd.

Yes because it's so bad we might as well refuse to play. No, that isn't the case. The game works fine, the UI and other variables are messed up. They aren't going to revert anything, definitely not from an internet petition

takes a few minutes for it to actually start downloading

I thought the Beta was for preventing bugs on release TT. This morning I could use an allied pylon to warpin units, after that teamate left :D

This is robbery. The treatment of OSX 10.5 users (doesn't include me) is heinous: The updater forcibly makes they game they *purchased* unplayable.

I guess so.. I'm sure you can buy activision+ blizzard for around a billion or two, its actually not worth that much Back on track: they should revert the patch or something before assembly hits.Just another reason why sc2 has a bleak future ahead if they decide to keep fucking up. Another reaaon why we should just pack up and move to another game.
