their sponsor didnt want major to join them. why would they allow naniwa to join tsl? :D

cause Naniwa *might* be worth the hassle, whereas Major not so much I guess.

after the proberush thing and leaving teams a lot more than major? after BMing a lot of koreans?

no. no korean sponsor would want him to be in the team he sponsors

we'll see, never say never. a foreign guy that's actually good can be attractive to some korean teams, makes them stand out and stuff.

No way a Korean team takes him, unless EG fronts Slayers like $100,000? The probe rush ruined any chance of that. Korean teams take that kind of stuff much more seriously than foreign teams, and they have better local talent to put their money into rather than disgracing their team with a progamer who does not compose himself like a professional. So if all Korean teams are out, the only team left that has the money to make Naniwa switch teams like this is EG. And EG obviously has no problem at all with aquiring someone who is seen as a bit of a "misfit." It doesn't matter if Idra doesn't like it, Idra isn't the one paying the bills at the EG house or signing the paychecks for the players.

That probe rush was gay but he was punished by not getting the Code S spot in that season of Code S. Coca and Byun were giving shit games and they were forgiven as well. As long as you apologize and change you will forgiven and since the probe rush Naniwa's been a model citizen in Korea.

it somewhat feels like he was actually fired but they did him a favor by letting it look a bit better.
Doubt a korean team will take him and doubt EG will want him so it might be troublesome a bit. I also feel he deserves to be clanless for some time, just too poorly mannered.

Naniwa top8 best players in the world ? What a joke. In the protoss race alone I can already list 8 players that are better than him : MC, Seed, PartinG, Squirtle, Alicia, Puzzle, Genius, HerO. I could name a few more.

Oh and I would say probably not Seed, not Puzzle and not Genius/HerO. But thats just a personal opinion, right? (Although I definitely agree with him not being top8).

Seed, just wins Code S, is not better than Naniwa.... Are you fucking kidding me dude? How the hell is Naniwa a better player than Seed?

Well, thats because I was not particularly impressed with Seed's games in GSL, also I don't think he would do well in foreign tournaments (he took way too many risks/cut too many corners). I would put Creator over almost anyone on that list though, aside from MC. Imo he will just drop out to Code A (and not advance through up and downs) in 1-2 seasons... But still, it's my personal opinion, you don't need to agree with it.

I don't know how you can not be impressed with his comebacks vs byun and symbol, especially symbol.

saying the current champion is going to drop out to code a and not come back is actually just fucking ridiculous, I'm not sure how you can actually believe that. you have lots of players in code S that stay there consistently that are not nearly as good as seed.

Obviously Nani found a better deal or expects to find a better deal based on his recent success as the best foreigner in Korea. :D <3

Maybe it will be ROOTnaniwa? They seem kinda laidback, but still lots of good guys, so maybe they'll cheer him up. Also, i doubt they would put up with his shit, so it wouldnt snowball out of control, as it did with sase. Or maybe im just writing a fable. Lots of maybe's in this post...

I dont know but naniwa doesnt seem as strong as you would expect somebody in the round of 8 to be. His PvP is impressive, but except for that his PvT doesnt seem that proven and his PvZ doesnt seem very strong. He played 3-2 versus DRG in close games, but DRG doesnt seem to be in shape recently and the losses against Sortof and Recco are quite an upset. His PvTs were against ryung(ryung and TvP...),keen(who seems to never play good vs nani) and thestc(didnt see the matches no clue). He won against virus who was somewhat on a roll, but he also lost to mvp.

Last time I said DRG wasn't in his best form against naniwa in the ro8, those nani fans insulted the crap out of me, be careful :D

It will be fun to see where he is going but I highly doubt that anyone would pay more than Quantic did for him. Joining a korean team would be pointless since he can have the salary of a western player + training there with ST. Makes no sense. Also TL recruiting him seems weird since they are a bunch of nice guys while Nani is known to be a dick. EG on the other hand is evil but why should they add another toss. They got JYP and HuK already. Also they just got the newcomer Suppy.

Can't say I'm honestly really surprised. As a big Naniwa fan, I of course wish him all the best in finding a team. I would love to see him on a Korean team where he can get some really great practice in and improve his MUs.

Also, no way in hell EG would sign Nani. At least, I really, REALLY hope not.

True, but you could clearly see it in DRG's recent games. He didnt perform very well as ace and that 0-3 vs mc...I mean mc is really strong in PvZ but he is not THAT much better than DRG. He made DRG look like some usual zerg player.

Fnatic would be nice indeed.

I just hope he doesn't retire,
in his brighter moments he is the greatest foreigner who has played this game,
no matter how much hate he gets for what he does wgen he's not playing.

No matter how hot it gets, sooner or later there's a cool breeze coming in.

There is no way a korean team getting him instead of a random grandmaster korean player. There are too many talented players in korea teamless. He might be a star in foreign community but in korean community he is nothing special imo.
