So you have another metric but wins in the global starcraft league? You have a "good-o-meter" at home with your own top list? He's ro8 GSL so he's top 8.
It's such a pity SC2 is such a young sport that being bad at the game but good at doing interviews make teams more likely to pick you up than a player that's sick good at the game but bad at interviews.

Two decent runs in Code S doesn't make you a top 8 player.... Inca made it to the finals for fuck sake.

And it's not that he is just bad at interviews... its his personality as a whole. He has a terrible reputation in Korea.


Top 8 = top 8. If you win the world championship in football, you're considered the best until the next championship. I don't see how starcraft is different.

Take a look at Wayne Rooney when it comes to terrible PR. Imo conduct shouldn't matter as much as results and skill when it comes to sports. That's just what I think though. I'm sure there are tonnes of people who would prefer the American wrestling approach rather than a legitimate sport.

IdrA hated HuK for the way he played the game, not for his personality. He's actually stated that they got along outside of the game before they were teammates.

People can say what they want but Ro8 twice in a row is pretty indisputable proof that he's Code S level. The fact that he lost a few times in Code A ages and ages ago is of no relevance to that fact.

SC2 is pretty random. Any code B can beat any code A or S and vise versa. It's just a matter of whoever receives the most opportunities and free seeds. No players on Earth got seeded into tournametns more than Naniwa, Idra, Huk and Stephano. Once you've reached a level, you can beat anyone on any given day with SC2. Getting hyped up and bailout seeds are what makes the difference.

I agree for the most part except the stephano part. What tournaments has he been seeded in ?

At the top of Stephano's hypes, I remember almost every tournament has had his name signed up. He even quit a lot before his matches and people were arguing whether to give him free seeds so he can drop out at the last minute again.

Well, he doesn't like him, that does not mean they couldn't be on the same team. As far as I know SK has no team house so they wouldn't even live together. However Naniwa needs a team house I think, so this speaks against SK.

Nevermind.

I think it'll be SK. He wants to go to events. Quantic can't send him to events. SK just ditched their 1.6 team, saving alot of cash.

So why aren't the code B players in code S? Why has MVP won 4 gsl code s titles, Nestea 3 and MC 2? Are they just better at rolling a dice? While there is a healty amount of competition and a few upsets here and there the better players are the ones who win the most tournaments and are consistantly in top 8. And we really don't have that many players that can brag about actually winning offline tournaments. Naniwa, Huk, Stephano and Idra are among those few, Thorzain is another. Which is why they have recieved seeds. Just like MC and Polt got seeded back into Code S. Because they friggin win. Alot.
