Maybe he's just trying to be cute: MTW, SG, MYM, PG, TE, D, C, QG can we build sth from that? Or do the whole team names spell something out?

Take a look at Wayne Rooney when it comes to terrible PR. Imo conduct shouldn't matter as much as results and skill when it comes to sports. That's just what I think though. I'm sure there are tonnes of people who would prefer the American wrestling approach rather than a legitimate sport. Starcraft is not football. and GSL isn't the only league(Though I agree it holds the most weight). In starcraft you can't just look at one or two tournies and proclaim someone is the best. That's fucked up. Not to mention his runs haven't even been THAT great. Apart from playing a couple of Protoss(Lol PvP) he managed to dodge most big names and lost to the ones he ran into... Again I think Naniwa is a good player. But he is not top 8 in the world. No chance in hell.

I don't know if I should keep answering to people with 2 posts but anyway ... he won't join SK because they don't have a teamhouse in korea. And naniwa wants one.

While there is a healty amount of competition and a few upsets here and there the better players are the ones who win the most tournaments and are consistantly in top 8. And we really don't have that many players that can brag about actually winning offline tournaments. Naniwa, Huk, Stephano and Idra are among those few, Thorzain is another. Which is why they have recieved seeds. Just like MC and Polt got seeded back into Code S. Because they friggin win. Alot. DRG was stuck in code A until he got seeded in. naniwa couldnt even make it out of code A until he got seeded in, and then he made Ro8 twice. A lot of top korean players once seeded in showed they can hang in code S. basically mechanical skill is irrelevant in sc2, because all the code S players have pretty much reached the skill ceiling hence why its so volatile and champions can get knocked out of Code S in the blink of an eye and no names can catapult into Code S, only to fall back into code B after a few months. The skill levels of everyone in code A and S are roughly the same, so anybody can beat anybody else.

But oh, people always believe everything they read. it honestly doesn't make much sense to just let Naniwa go. If he had another team lined up, Quantic would ask for a buy out. I really don't think Naniwa just asked to be released and Quantic said "OK Naniwa thats cool. gl in teh future" Contracts exist for a reason. Clearly something soured in this relationship. Now naniwa is not training along side his bff Sase and isn't in the StarTale house which he seemed to enjoy. As for where he will go? Who knows. Dignitas didn't re-sign him because he's too difficult. coL dropped him for the same reason which is how he got on Quantic. Quantic just released him. He doesn't fit EG (yes there is more to sc2 than winning, which btw Naniwa doesn't do a lot of. Ro8 GSL isn't winning, its a great performance, but he hasn't followed it up anywhere else). I really have no idea where he will end up. I'd imagine he wants to stay in Korea since he is still in Code S and likes training there. Maybe Fnatic?

It's still https://twitter.com/quanticnani Although there are NO tweets about StarTale there so either he removed that tweet or it was fake from the beginning. Last tweet is to WhiteRa. EDIT: Nvm, I found the StarTale-tweet.

Being an IM fan, you should probably be aware that SK has a partnership with IM, which would allow him to stay in the teamhouse if they so desired it.
