This is kinda cool i guess. Seems like he wants to support a team based in his own country which is nice. Hope he posts some more great results. Perhaps he can convince Thorzain to join and break the EG curse :S

As of now, I believe that a Korean team might pick him up, assuming he wants to stay there. Startale being the most obvious choice.

I can also imagine that one of the major foreign teams will pick him up, especially the big EU teams that lack some players (MYM, SK, mouz).

Morrow must be so proud looking at this thread, so many people still don't get the joke.

Wow, so it's you who sponsors Naniwa ;-)

He already left Complexity.

Probably be Fnatic or mouz.

BW teams hold a higher standard for their players. They won't go near a player like Naniwa.

He's arguably the best foreigner, and currently 8th best in the world. That's pretty high standards.

by Standards I didn't mean playing results. I meant personality wise. Kespa teams are not going to want a whiny BM team hopper with a bad reputation. 0% chance a Kespa team touches him. Also he is not 8th best in the world -.- yes he has proven he is a solid player by staying in Code S, but he is not top 8 in the world....

So you have another metric but wins in the global starcraft league? You have a "good-o-meter" at home with your own top list? He's ro8 GSL so he's top 8.
It's such a pity SC2 is such a young sport that being bad at the game but good at doing interviews make teams more likely to pick you up than a player that's sick good at the game but bad at interviews.

None of it will happen. Startale makes no sense and was dismissed by Naniwa himself. EG does not want uncontrollable players.

isn't Idra on EG? (see what I did there)

Two decent runs in Code S doesn't make you a top 8 player.... Inca made it to the finals for fuck sake.

And it's not that he is just bad at interviews... its his personality as a whole. He has a terrible reputation in Korea.

lol @ how many times you've posted in this thread telling us what we should think about Naniwa. 0% chance he'll go to a Korean team? What gives you the idea that if Naniwa has lived in ST's house for this long there's a 0% chance they will pick him up? Not a very intelligent estimation to throw out there.

EDIT: LOL and another while I was typing that post:

Yeah, when you can't beat one of the three races in the game, you aren't a top 8 player.
