I recently attempted to log onto my Starcraft 2 account and I was transferred to a recovery page as I was informed that my account had been locked. I got a page where it asked for either my authentication code of my city of birth. I do not know where I wrote down what city I was born in (I already attempted to put in my actual city of birth) and I don't have an authentication code.
I bought this account online months ago and because my account is locked I cannot access it online. Blizzard lines are currently full (even when I called directly when the lines opened) and I can't submit a ticket for a lost account.
Is there anyway to actually regain my authentication code and therefore my account?
Thanks in advance!

Contact Blizzatd support. Even if lines are full just wait a few minutes it really doesnt take that long.

try to call them, from my own experience they never really answer to tickets or emails.
|
Unless if your ticket is very pointed and you clearly knoe what blizz can do, put aside an hour and a half to be waiting for blizz to answer

They got back to me pretty quickly regarding my ticket. I would submit a ticket and also call. Make sure you put your ticket in the appropriate bucket.
Edit: My ticket was very clear, but my ticket didn't have a good bucket to go in. They could not do what I wanted them to do, but the response was very clear and stated that they could not do it.
I'd be interested to hear what tickets people aren't getting responses to? If it's regarding reporting hackers and such that doesn't count, they won't tell you they are banning the person. But what legit tickets are people not getting response for? I find that pretty hard to believe..

I'd call them.
If you open a ticket, there are some key words you can include (I know in WoW, it's if you type stuck like 3-4 times, they'll respond very quickly), but I'm not sure what it is in SC2

Why would you use a diff city than your birth city?

Did you change any hardware in your PC? I had similar experience when i change few of my components and i got surprised when i had to reset password and what not to be able access my account again. Good luck getting your account back.

I have the same thing with my bnet account caue i changed computer I tried to call them 6 times yesterday about once an hour and everytime i get the message that the queue is full and to call back later.
And I cant submit a ticket cause you have to be logged in to submit a ticket...

the few support tickets i've sent in have always been answered promptly. my first ever "support incident" was answered by "Melissa" and ever since then she is automatically assigned to all my support tickets. she answers promptly with a good solid response.
i've never had a problem with my support tickets being ignored. maybe i'm just lucky to have been assigned to a really good Blizzard suppor person though.

when i can't get logged into my BNet account i submit a ticket via email.

I'd probably call them. Hopefully they're not other companies x2 and you don't wait an hour and a half for them to answer and then they give the phone to someone else and the train keeps rollin. GL!

i had my account locked too, i just called them and im fine

create new account and submit a ticket and try to include ALL the information in your ticket right away because they usually respond in 1 hour for the ticket but if you reply it takes them a couple of days for their next reply

You guys didn't read what he wrote.
He BOUGHT this account from someone. Never buy accounts from other people, they can easily recover it and you have no way of getting the account back.

uhh he didn't say that at all. He said he bought it online. You can buy sc2 online from blizzard, and download the game.

Funny, got the same thing a few weeks ago. Called Blizz support, got it resolved in like 5 mins.
In the US, do you have to pay for customer support? If it's a toll free number, I always call from my mobile. Works like a charm, they always pick up pretty quickly

Just call them, when lines were full it used to take forever to get someone though recently (last few months) I'v only had to wait about 10mins at max
