After watching TvZ Battle report, widow mines seem to be another terrible design idea. You are rewarded for careless play where you just run them out and burrow them around your opponent's army. Just another way skill is not affirmed, and Terran's success is based on luck.

I can see mass hellion, but I don't see how mass tank will do anything for you when Protoss goes Robo for Immortal+Colossus.All the gateway units would die but the Robo units will all be left over and wreck everything. Happens every time I went mass tank.


By the time Protoss gets a good nr of Immortals and/ or Col you can get ghosts and/ or vikings, scouting is super important. I find Archons more problematic tbh.

I'm not saying it's good though, i think Tanks are UP and the bulk of my and others "success" is down to the novelty of it. (gorapadong has a few replays around, MKP played a nr of mech games, GoOdy but not lately)

I just hope Blizz will look at the Tank while making mech better and not a mechanical marauder. Mech without Tanks (as many as possible) it's just not mech for me

spidermine? You should know more about this unit before you call it terrible design. How does widow mine reward you for careless play? There are many ways you can use it and what you saw was one of many ways.

The Viper Abduct looks way OP. I am not sure if it is a good idea to let one player just deny good positional play from his opponent. I suppose it will have to be tested through the beta. It's nice that Hydras seem to be back though - it always pained me a little that they were UP in WOL. They, not the Roach, should be the backbone of the Zerg army, IMO.

No way... insta killing colossus, tanks, thors, archons and such will just mean that they wont make any units above 2 supply. Then Vipers wont be useful!

I hope they show some new matches. Or a special event where the game is just played without trying to showcase the new units.

I don't really like the swarm host in terms of looks its a ground siege weapon I think removing the spawn ability and giving it something better.

I just keep thinking its a Mushroom spawning little shooting ants
