I wouldn't say toss has more hacker, I would phrase it by saying they are easier to detect by using automated hacks such as auto-blink. Some zergs have been found to be using auto-injects as well. As for terran, I haven't found any automated actions to look for, which makes evidence way harder to find.

I know this thread is about GM level hackers, but has anyone noticed a huge swell in hackers below the GM level? Over the past week I've played 3 separate maphackers (100% obvious, watching and tracking unit movements through fog) at low Master level. It's really frustrating as they put NO effort at all into hiding the fact that they maphack despite going from plat league to top ranked diamond/master in 1 season. I guess they are just relying on Blizzard's apathy.
This thread is definitely needed, but I can't help but think it led to many more people seeking out hacks ;\

It's been around for a long time, people were just not aware of it and wouldn't watch their replays when they suspected the opponent. Or atleast, that's how I view it since i've been facing maphackers since season 2-3 (been growing exponentially since then).
I had "the honor" of facing him today in peepmode. We were in chat and he defends himself by saying that he stream snipes; not maphacks. I ended up beating him pretty handily in a PvP at the end of the peepmode game.

You are right, updating on the front page
I do not know but it's fair to assume that terran would have auto-mule. I have also seen zerg having auto-burrow for roaches. Think there is a fairly old thread about that somewhere. Kinda weird that we have not had any cases involving the roach burrow hack here yet. Not developed anymore? It's just as obvious as the blink.

He posted this on jsp forum yesterday:
JOE_BG,Jun 25 2012 03:12am]top 12 gm son
im the best maphacker in the world
ez son
Now that he seen the video, he actually changed his version of the facts to avoid a second ban

That was a really interesting and unusual queue.... although it's not definitive by any means. And btw that guy only cannon rushes, doesn't matter what race he plays against, so...
More incriminating evidence against Venasaur: http://drop.sc/207961 throughout the whole replay his screen is mostly static 9:30 - he brings his lings to defend without even seeing mine first 10:40 - starts preemptively moving his overlords back, but this might just be game sense since he saw all lings 10:44 - dead giveaway, look at where he is sending his two banelings lol 11:49-53 - big look at my base 12:12-21 - lets just randomly fly into a corner and find an overlord 12:30 - sends his mutas to engage mine randomly

He proceeds to scout bottom first, then he finds you cannon rushes you. You then lift and he scouts gold to see if you landed there and when you didn't he scouted his third. If he was a maphacker he would have gone straight to the third.
I think the only thing this replay shows is you being a douche and lifting off when you lost the game.

He repeatedly puts his camera at my location before arriving there, AND shift queue's his probes on several mineral patches. I was only BM because he cannon rushed and was either hacking or got extremely lucky on a 4 player map with a lame strategy. I'm a douche? Go fuck yourself.
This is a good and important thread. Blizzard definetely reads these forum and I believe they keep an eye of this thread.
I'd like to suggest something for you OP. For each confirmed maphacker you should have the same format of updating the original post. I will leave the creation of template to those better at it than me.
The reason for this is that it will be easier for readers of this forum (which are a lot of players and people from Blizzard) to follow this thread and i think this thread can put a stop to lot of map hackers in the future. Just look at the impact the TLPD winrates have on all Starcraft 2 forums. Everyone reposts them on bnet and other places. It's impossible for Blizzard to not take notice of it. I think this thread or something along the same lines can have the same impact and catch/stop a lot of hackers.
As of now the original post without spoiler tags and a clear format is just getting bigger harder to follow.
I will just make something in this post to show what I mean. Confirmed map hackers
