You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

LOL If one simple GIF of lucky blink defines someone a hacker then everyone can be a hacker.

Well maybe you are right but he moves it back just exatctly when the marines go in, but when i saw the blink i laughed perfect timing again

Well could you please explain your reasoning behind that blink? It would help clear a lot of others skepticism about you.

So I went to my friend who ques vs believe rly often and asked what he thought about this. He showed me this replay: http://drop.sc/400061
Nexus first vs reaper opening close positions then is completely caught out of position vs that marine followup.

@duckk yes, if you see i was making a pylon with my probe, i blinked them down becasuse its allot faster to get near his base to do counter harass, if you watch the rest of the replays youll see that i do blink harass allot vs reaper opener, and i was just lucky enough that his med was there

I have a replay of this same Terran maphacking. (low-GM/high masters level) http://drop.sc/400062
I decided to go for a roach rush on Iron Fortress, after scouting with an OL that he isn't opening reaper. With absolutely zero scouting info, he full walls his nat with 2 bunkers, rushes out a tank, and pulls scvs to his bunkers just before my roaches arrive (before he has any vision of any roaches). The game goes on further from here, but I didn't bother looking closely for any other signs that he was maphacking. If anyone finds any, feel free to let me know.

I don't think he's hacking, think it's just a coincidence.

If he was just sending the stalkers across the map to pressure then that's a pretty unnecessary route to take. And sure he had the natural covered with a photon overcharge and observer but he did not have the main covered if the medivac were to instead fly over the ledge into the main rather than directly over the 3rd base location. Also his next observer that was about to pop was directly rallied to his opponent so if the medivac were to fly over the ledge into the main he would have taken a lot of unnecessary damage.
Also practicing with someone regularly doesn't mean it's impossible that they're not a hacker. I'm sure Spades and Daisuke had people they practiced with regularly that had no idea they hacked.

Played vs [TES] Believe a few times on both servers, don't think he ever did anything suspicious, seemed pretty legit. That was around the time he qualified for WCS as well. From the replay it seemed pretty standard PvT moves aside from the Stalker blink, but he did have vision everywhere else pretty much. Don't think this is enough evidence, seems more of a rant if anything.

This is what I thought as well. Also if he was trying to go asap and not look for a drop wouldnt a protoss player shift click around the edge to blink? The way he blinks he sort of moves to the edge, moves forward a little more, and then blinks down as if to catch a drop and not go across the map.

Same, hes not hacking for sure

One thing that makes me think it is a coincidence is that such an action is so suspicious that a hacker would likely refrain from doing something so blatant as to draw attention to themselves... if they knew a medi was coming they would wait to pick it off, but this specific incident seems like it could be a consequence of aggressive army movement being allowed by proper defensive zoning.

Without more replays with blatant things, though the consistency of the PvP counter tech choices are interesting, I'm not ready to jump on the 'you're hacking' bandwagon, but this is the WORST possible defense you could have chosen and makes me lean towards hacking more.

Things like this is how hackers get caught. They do something without information that they should have sat on, but forget what they're reacting to isn't 'actually' seen yet. It's a slip up.

I'm not a terran or a protoss player so obviously my PvT knowledge is limited, but just a small point I noticed regarding the believe replay
at 6:41 the terran has enough money to make his medivac from the starport, but he doesn't start it til 7:20.
Considering Believe was playing without scouting and trying to tailor his build to the TvP metagame of mine drop, wouldn't the terrans mistake of starting the medivac a whole 40 seconds late considerably fuck up the expected timing in which the mine drop would hit.
