To be fair though, despite the lack of professionality, they did release them from their contracts without any hassle. They had already invested in the players (salaries, contracts, PC for Scarlett and other expenses).
did they have any other choice? judging by the other controversies with this team money seems to be the issue here, so EC could not continue to support the 4 players in Korea, therefore they had to release them from their contracts.

I don't want to sound offending, but isn't it very fishy to be on a team for a month without a contract? I'm sure they paid you but in case they didn't, you don't have a claim to that money right?

Doesn't make too much of a difference in the current state E-Sports IMO. Even if you have a contract, you're probably not going to sue your team when they stop paying you but just leave it instead. Nobody wants to file a lawsuit since it might backfire easily and you're probably not going to see any money even if you win.
I just hope other teams will learn some from this. You have to have a clear view on what you are going to be focusing on. In this case if it's the European scene or Korean. In this case it's just so poor management to sign players that clearly states they want to go to Korea and then do a 180 turn and instead focusing on the European scene after signing these players.
I can only speek for myself, but in my eyes Eclypsia has done a really poor impression in the E-sport scene. First with their intro which in my opinion is just the weirdest and a poor aprils joke to get some PR. And with their Dota2 team, they didn't seem happy at all with how they where treated. I actually thought they where doing the same PR stunt as when they appeared, but apperently not. And now they end up losing a lot of good players because they didn't have a clear view at what they really wanted to do in their future. But yeah. Good luck to all parties I guess. Hopelly the players find a new team fast which can hold what they promise.
