kay? because that's like, totally not an opinion or anything.

It sounds like they signed a bunch of players while saying that they are going to open a teamhouse in Korea, then kept flipping back and forth for a while until deciding "oh nvm, we're just gonna 'focus' on Europe instead". That, and like Desrow said, the players were not comfortable with EC's facepalming PR disasters.

Not sure if serious...
Unless their contracts say specifically "in x months, we will open a house in Korea and you will live there for y term and participate/train for z tournaments", it's a really dick move to quit because they were "promised" a team house.

Why is that a dick move? It seems to me like the players are only looking out for their own best interests. Its not like thye are defaming the team or anything.

Lets say you get a job

Then you're not happy with the job for x reason, where x is not written anywhere specifically in your contract

Leaving the job because of something that isn't stipulated in a contractual agreement = not a good thing.

If you translate that to real world terms it would be akin to a jobhopper.

Well, if you're unhappy about something at your job, you first go talk with your boss or whoever is in charge (that's probably what the EC members did). If nothing happens after some time, you ask again and if nothing changes, you just leave it if you find something better somewhere else.

Now, if you do that 10 times in one year, there's probably something wrong with you instead of the employers, but as far as I know, that's not the case for the leaving EC members.

You don't have much experience with the working world, do you? The vast, vast majority of people who quit their jobs do it because they are unhappy with their current employer. If someone violates your signed contract, you sue them.

Spoken like a true litigilist.

Pretty sure I've had more experience working than you, but it's ok. Words like company loyalty and personal ownership/responsbility towards your work tends to get lost under the swath of 'amg lawsuet inc'

If one joins a team on the expectation that a teamhouse would open somewhere down the road it's COMMON SENSE that one does NOT join said team until there is concrete proof.

Is this how it is in Australia. In American you can leave a job for any reason (and an employer can fire you for any reason). I bet the majority of the time the only explanation a worker gives to their employers over here is that they want to work somewhere else.

Maybe ScarlettLight?
She should have little to no problem finding a team.

Desrow should form his own team.
I see hardly any team that will pick him up.

A contract is a legal obligation. If a company violates that contract, they have broken a legal agreement with you, and a lawsuit is your means of receiving what you are entitled to, or something of equivalence.

If a company hired you under false pretenses, it's COMMON SENSE that the company is NOT one you should work for.

Company loyalty has to be earned.

Really hope to see Desrow find a team and continue his pro-gaming career. He has a lot of potential and I love watching his stream!

Hope to see Scarlett find a team as well, so much potential that I do not want to see go to waste. Best of luck to both!

Unfortunately mouz is really focused on Europe afaik, so hiring two Canadians in Korea wouldn't make much sense to them.

Don't worry, need no fundraiser ^^ ... Talking to 2 bigger / more established teams than EC right now who should both be able to send me

Also, about stream ~ fastest internet I can get where I live now is 800 kbps upload (not enough to stream properly). I will when I'm in a team house or gom house though >< sorry

*send her to MLG and she's talking about fundraiser because there was a talk in fan club about raising money to send her to MLG in case she can't find a team in time.
