and i'm sorry, but that really wasn't impressive at all. flash is supposed to CRUSH faces, cause SC2 is so easy and all that jazz

I guess its okay to laugh right now; it won't take too long before you start crying.

For a guy that has to practice two games competetively, having to deal with adjusting to the different kinks of each game and who's also been playing the new game for less than two months... Yeah, I'd say that this is pretty impressive.

Get off your high horse.

what high horse?

i'm on a donkey, it's called sc2. didn't you get the memo? ;-)

not few months back: "old champion in bw that was retired for years switched and got to code S with 3 months of practice, LOL"
now: ">>>FLASH<<< needs more practice, give him a break"

it's so bloody funny )))))

Quit the "))))))" please

oGsfOrGG played more than 3 months before getting Code S, the 3 months were since he joined oGs but he already played by himself. Flash is playing real sick TvT in this video for his sc2 time(actually he's playing sick TvT period), did you even see the video?

Wow, he's very impressive already. I'm glad that I use the same unit comp on each hotkey, makes me feel like I've been doing something right.

Considering he's been playing the game less than 2 months...wow.

Beating a pro player after only switching 1 month ago. Not bad.

In the second video he outmacro-ed Apocalypse on equal bases, and crushed him by pushing edges and barely winning each engage. If that isn't impressive I don't know what is.

You are joking right? How about injection management? Got that too back in BW?

i commented on flash in one sentence. one.

the rest was for bw elitists and brainwashing the sc2 community for months that their game is so easy a monkey from bw could dominate it.

now we see that's not the case, so how bout you let everyone enjoy it for a minute, ok? ;-)

Yeah, its not like pretty much every single broodwar progamer to switch over so far has had decent results right?
Even if they did, none of them could boast code S status... surely?
I mean lets face it, none of the ex-BW pros have won a GSL after all, eh?

Flash has been practicing sc2 for a month, part-time. Not even full-time. And he is a top masters facing GMs.
You mention something about someone trying to brainwash you about BW, but are you sure theres anything to wash?
Now how bout you let everyone enjoy your absence... forever. ok? ;-)

He didnt say its EXACTLY the same, he just said Zerg has the least differences in gameplay between the two games. Chill.

Well he beat apocalypse who is probably of a similar standard to you and foreign pro-gamers wise?

In 3 weeks, that is pretty good.

are you even comprehending the intrigue quote that you proudly brandish as your sig? he says "with a latency of a few months."

It has barely been a month.

And the players still need to juggle practices with BW. Flash, in particular, is coming off a wrist injury.

We will see in few months (more than 3-4 months but less than a year) whether intrigue was right or not. Until then, I would not act so smug.

Exactly. ClouD, I think most of us are just impressed by how well he's playing for the amount of time he's played SC2 (~1-2 months?). No one is dumb enough to put him in the same class as a Code A player (yet).

To be fair, 'latency' is too big a word to fit in so closed a mind.

Rank 56 masters in korea/taiwan, pretty impressive :O.

Wth? He's played over 400 2v2's...

Probably just getting used to the different mechanics, but still..

Flash asks his 2v2 partner to leave every game so he can play 1v2s constantly. He got to Masters so that's rather impressive, especially with the low practice time.

obviously he needs practice, but given how much he's played, it's pretty impressive he is already KR top masters.

I was most surprised by how he holds/moves his mouse. I thought most pros used a full on fingertip grip with high sensitivity, such that you never need to move your wrist or arm at all. It looks like Flash moves his whole arm a lot to move the mouse. I always felt this was slower and less accurate than a fingertip grip. Did he adjust his mousing style due to his injury?
