They plan on moving out anyway, Jinro has been looking for an apartment recently.
We'll just have to wait and see, but if anyone had told me a year ago that oGs might disband before ZeNEX does, I'd have declared him crazy.
I would be really sad

So simply said, they have 0 money, lost all their good players, and don't really have any up and coming players. Yeh disbanding doesn't sound all that bad. With your logic ZeNEX would have been dead a long time ago.
Maybe time for oGs to start looking for the THING.

Jinro is actually looking for a new place, and I believe TLO is going to be moving in with him in the next couple of weeks, I'm not %100 sure about this but i'm sure I have read it somewhere recently. Maybe these rumors are actually going to turn out to be true

fOrGG is still there, so is Inca and TheStC. Plus up and coming players like Vines and Lure are still there. Yes that list is a weak shadow of its former self, but oGs hasn't lost ALL of their good players. It's gonna be tough for them to find sponsors though, and I honestly hope they do so the Liquid players can remain there, and I'm worried for fOrGG and TheStC of course!

Add to the fact that TL only got HerO back when he wasn't showing his potential yet and Zenio after he had been dropped from the team. Both of which weren't their star players.
NaDa and MC leaving were the first signs that oGs wasn't the stable team we had expected.

On May 11 2012 21:52 T0F4sT wrote: sad to see TL ''killing'' oGs by buying the top players. I wouldn't exactly say that. During the press release for the Hero transfer, the coach for OGS was quoted as saying that he was actively looking for an opportunity to send a player to TL. In fact, if I recall, Zenio specifically switched to TL from OGS because OGS wanted him to stay in the training house, which he was not comfortable with. So, it was either that he would leave OGS or transfer to TL.
Anyways, if this is true, I wonder how it would impact TL seeing as they have been sharing a team house...
Also, let's not hype this up too much. After all, there have been like 5 different rumors about Zenex disbanding, and they're still together.

Zenio left oGs because he didn't want to be in the team house. Not because TL wanted him. It worked out well that TL picked him up.. AFTER he chose to leave.
Hero made his fame after he joined TL, before then he had played one nice PvP in GSTL and qualified once or twice for Code A.

Maybe this is the real reason TL/TLO were looking for a house?
If this really is happening. I could see a lot of oGs players looking at KeSPA teams. KeSPA teams will provide just about everything oGs did (training facility, food, shelter, etc.) and maybe a little more or better quality.

HerO was already one of oGs's best players in practice, just waiting for his break-out. Not saying TL poached him or anything, because I believe HerO himself didn't want to join TL originally when presented with the offer, but oGs management convinced him it was an amazing offer. Although I will say, TL provided him the opportunity to have his break-out, which would've been greatly delayed if he remained in oGs.

maybe oGs ----> Teamliquid ??

what about their partnership with Absolut Legend? would be a sad news
|
Not really surprised... If Supernova really left the team, they have lost so many players. I feel bad for them
|
Sad news if this is true and if it is true, hope their current players find suitable teams for themselves.
|
|
Even if Supernova leaves, they still have many players, if the team disbands, not sure what's gonna happen with all of them.
On May 11 2012 21:52 T0F4sT wrote: sad to see TL ''killing'' oGs by buying the top players. wat Hero was stuck in nowhere when TL bought him and Zenio was out of oGs already and TheWind helped him find a team.

I thought oGs just recently bought like 3 more houses for LoL?

Disappointed to hear this news. Hope everyone can land on their feet somehow.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is just the tip of the iceberg with GSL teams/players getting hit hard by Kespa moving to SC2. Maybe even GSL itself.
The entire GSL set up has been averse to empowering teams since day one. They lack a lot of the control that Kespa granted them. Similarly they have no sponsors, money, etc. Even the poorest Kespa teams can provide so much more stability and support for players, and these SC2 players will be in high demand as player-coaches.
In a way by not succeeding to the point where Blizzard continues to have faith in them and their exclusive broadcast rights (let's be honest, they were strong-armed into giving them up, probably at the promise of never getting the time of day from Blizzard once their deal was up if they didn't work with Kespa) they've sealed their own fate. They didn't want a strong team presence and I think it's going to bite them in the ass when everyone with talent gets poached by Kespa.
I am expecting to see some of the bigger teams jump ship to Kespa/proleague as well

Would be sad. They used to be a real force.

Sadest news I've heard in quite a while. oGs started it all, so to speak.
