A lot of korean players are very limited, they may travel to a foreign tournament and place high enough for prize money, but they can't because they're on a korean team, without enough money.

Really hope this isn't the case, Prime and Zenex have both been in a similar position before with prime rising from the ashes and zenex refusing to quit, if oGs is going to disband in these circumstances it really will be a blow to the scene, they've produced such excellent players, the team really doesn't deserve to be in the position its currently in.

was kinda obviously since the wind was looking for players for LoL team ... then aswel sc2 is very small in korea guys , maybe you think it is big but compared to sc : bw is 1/4 , and sc : bw compared to league of legends right now in koea is 1/3 ......

hope they will find sponsors and they will keep going on , ogs will 4ever be the best team for me ! oGs Hwiting !!

I was just looking at the roster of their players on Liquipedia, and it says that Aria joined on April 15th, 2012. Seems strange to me that they'd sign a new player like this if things are really this bad.

Lure also recently joined I think.
With korean teams, I don't thinking signing a player really involves money or contracts that much?

It's possible that with the recent news with KeSPA joining the SC2 scene, some sponsors decided to pull out and stick with the more stable teams.

HerO was already one of oGs's best players in practice, just waiting for his break-out. Not saying TL poached him or anything, because I believe HerO himself didn't want to join TL originally when presented with the offer, but oGs management convinced him it was an amazing offer. Although I will say, TL provided him the opportunity to have his break-out, which would've been greatly delayed if he remained in oGs.

Remember KeSPA players have to play BW too (and in a three-player line-up). Don't see any SC2 players transitioning back and actually getting played regularly - their chances of winning the mechanically-dependent BW games just aren't great after years of not practicing.

I blame SK Gaming if this is true... They told OGS they were interested in a partnership and then stole their best player. That's some fuck'd up shit yo!
