Personally I'm master-level with Z, Diamond-level with P and Platinum-level with T. If I want to train with T, I'll get owned most of the time with this technique. It should be splitted *by race* ![]()

That said, I am glad they are finally adding these to the game, although I wish it had been sooner. One feature they left out was the great stat tracking. Yes, we have sc2gears and scranks, but it would be better if it was integrated into b.net. I think that such third party programs are actually way better than bnet integrated stats, esp in this case. Cause, like you said it yourself, it takes very long for Blizz to implement things we want. And if we are the developer by ourselves, we can change things asap ![]()

Which means you'll have them in WoL as well if you want to stay with that game.

i just cant do it, love you guys, take my money. @unranked They probably implement it LoL-Style, it has an own, changing, invisible rating (and is probably initialized by your ranked elo). They could also add an option to choose a matchup/map. Greetings

And this 'just play BW' doesn't really make sense then, as that's an expansion too. This may be late, but it really is only a good thing.

SO i see you dont follow news , and only blame blizzard -_- http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/3846689 "Patch 1.5 Is Coming The upcoming 1.5 patch will be our most feature-laden patch to date. This patch represents the first steps towards the release of our first expansion for StarCraft II, Heart of the Swarm, and will include numerous upgrades and fixes throughout the game. One of the most significant additions will be the all new Arcade feature which includes improved custom game visibility, ratings, reviews, game instructions, screenshot support, and more. Patch 1.5 will also include significant improvements throughout the overall user interface, streaming support, antialiasing, editor and modding upgrades, new art tools, and more. We’ll go into further details about these features in future developer updates. In this update, I would like to provide some insight into the thinking and motivation behind a few of the upcoming changes."

I'm already mad." personally i think these things should have been implemented from the beginning and not used as marketing for HotS

I made the comment that Blizzard has a pretty good track record of releasing great expansions, especially great FIRST expansions(I can't account for like expansion 18 from WoW if it is any good, but I know the first few really launched the game). Blizzard follows the same model all the time. They basically release something more than a beta but less than a "complete" game at first. It is usually good enough to get people in and they create a ton of buzz, but then they use their expansions to polish and perfect and add the features that probably should have been there from the start. Now I'm not saying that Blizzard is off the hook for releasing games without the features they should have to begin with(for example I heard D3 is shipping without the PvP features). But it is a good business practice because they basically get us to pay $80 for what probably should have been a part of the original game. But we are suckers, and we are going to buy the expansion, and we are going to be happy with it. I think HoTS w/ these features plus the units that I ultimately think will be very good for the game, and we'll have something pretty damn nice. Add in one more expansion after to really polish everything off and ultimately SC2 is going to be impressive all said and done. It is just frustrating to pay for 2 expansions and wait 3-4 years to get it, but Blizzard is a business and you can't blame them for making money even if it sucks in the short term.

We also intend to have our first version of unranked play so you will have the ability to match-make against like-skilled players without having to affect your ladder ranking while you practice off-race or experiment with a new build order. The unranked match-making against like-skilled players system cannot work unless they do it "Per Race". I'm a Diamond Zerg, Mid Platinum Protoss, and Low Platinum Terran. Pretty much everyone is largely skill varied per race so how is it possible to match you against a like-skilled player if they do not use MMR per race? Technically, Blizzard did not say how they were going to implement this system so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt ![]() P.S. These changes are great I can't wait for HoTS
