Restart sc2gears. There is an upgrader.(red button top) Data is never lost on upgrade.

No, they are Season 9, he just forgot to update the text... for 5 seasons, but I look at the website pretty often, I have no doubt they are from current season.

Rather, he sorts them by patch and hasn't updated it for 1.5.

new offsets = new promotion values! Values are not final in any means but this was the only way to dont make the old data useless
Diamond - Master offset on US and EU is pretty close to 300. SEA 250. Not sure about the rest yet.
Some very special combination must happen so that a game give good offset values. To give you an example i have 4k games allready and that give me only 20 data-points about offsets. and i think they are all wrong...
EDIT: To equal out the remove of the tiers they decided to make the cap rule harder! If you are not top in your league they dont want that your points drop to much, so they ignore mmr in this case and give you point even if you dont deserve them! This makes it for me impossible to calculate the mmr of this games. You know this as "cap" -"Bad games" in my tool in the past.
I was naive enough to hope that they would remove this rule...instead they buffed it ...

So point gains and losses are based on what? Your points compared to theirs without counting MMR? Does this have something to do with the baseline MMR for points purposes from before where your opponent always had your divisions MMR + 88 (or was it 83)?
Will your plugin eventually (with enough data) be able to determine MMR values, or do you think it won't be possible?
|
dMMR cap is even bigger now? Then you still won't be able to realise that your MMR is dropping too low and you will be surprised with your innevitable demotion? Yay, for bubbles! I'd thought they'd learn something with the economy crisis! Bubbles will burst, no point in making them on purpose...

It all makes sense, as to the nature of my opponents all being wishy wash, favored, then not, some favored but lower league, then not favored or equal the next, same league... I am still trying to figure out of the MMR system is actually matching correctly or not.

Anyways thats history now...
What do you mean with eventually? I saw you talking about this in a other tread. I determine MMR values for over 3 month now! we discovered all special rules and everything that is to know about MMR.Its done!
Perhaps you should read the op again. I describe problems with the new system. This tool was running in last season without problems. I just have to keep up with new hiding ideas of blizzard.
I talk about that not every game gives you data you can work with. But there are still many games where i can calculate the MMR exact. Even for the bad games i wrote a algorithm that predict the mmr pretty accurate to make the whole mmr graph accurate again.

Even if you are in the unlucky situation that you drop down in the hidding place where all games are caped, you will play someone from the league under you and so i get not caped data. Even if not, than my prediction helper will step in and calculate the the trend down.

I calculate your MMR. Match making RATING. You talk about the Match making SYSTEM, that decide depending on your MMR what MMR you play against. I also calculate the MMR of your opponent so you can see in my graph after the game if he was really fav and how much the diffrence was.

Skeldark, I re-read your post and I think I misunderstood. You stated, "This makes it impossible for me to calculate mmr off this games," and I thought you meant is made it impossible for you to calculate MMR after this season's changes. After a re-read, I think you were talking about games where too many points are won being useless for MMR calculations.

After a re-read, I think you were talking about games where too many points are won being useless for MMR calculations. exactly. This was a big problem in last season and is a bigger problem now. With no tiers left there are less caps overall. But they also make the divisions smaller and the cap harder. So in practise mroe than 50% of all games are caped. and all the games that i need to caulculate offsets accurate are per definition caped. I have diffrent method to calculate offsets but this one is not as accurate. Anyways i have the feeling blizzard have no intresst anymore to let the leagues be in gauss graph. i think they put in random hardcoded numbers. Why i think this? my new method say this diamond size 294 - 302 plat size 293-306
i think : they are just 300 , 300

Its obvious that this plugin not only is innacurate, but it isnt working right either.
Deleted plugin. Advise when it is accurate and working properly again, without shifting around bars, bouncing bar charts up and down making them unreadable, etc.
thanks for your effort to this point. It doesnt work for me anymore.

The plugin worked well last season. The plugin is not accurate now because he is collecting data after Blizzard changed some of the MMR system this season. Unless people use the plugin and collect data, it will take him longer to get good information. If you reinstall and use the plugin, you will help him get good data faster and the plugin will work better earlier. Thousands of games of data is likely still needed, so every person helps!

thanks for your effort to this point. It doesnt work for me anymore. With bouncing bars up and down i think you mean the moving promotion lines. blizzard changed them this season. So i show you the change. If you only want to see season 9 data without the offset jump there is a filter option for that.
The result is not final and this version is to collect data to get it final. You would know that if you read the message that showed up on upgrade, or the op, or any post of the last 2 pages.
I show the data. If you dont like the data there is nothing i can do. Oh no, there is something... I could show you wrong data that looks nice. Ah wait blizzard is doing this for you already.
EDIT: Ah i see, you did not have a single good game yet. So yes your graph must look strange... Im sorry but i was to lazy to prog a second waiting window for this case.
EDIT2: @Whiterabbit your run gives some good offset data ^^ keep winning ...

V 6.2 Already put in some offsets over the db file. Added a hardcore cap rule. I will replace it with the real one as soon as i know the real one.

Also the recorded core data seems correct (was exact for all my four s9 games both for me and opponents both on NA & EU). This means that when s9 changes are figured out and implemented, the tool can use this data (of course still then some of the data may be under special rules and thus marked as bad). So I would advise you (Grimmy) to keep recording (just don't trust the graph too much until then).

also howcomes the promotion lines have dropped so far on my graph? did they really change that much without the offsets?
edit: actually its not rising lol. Do I have to wait for a good game?

You ask questions when you already know the answer!
Yes, -99xx MMR is the new "Need more games" for season 9.
The FAQ, the popup when you started the latest version, and the last couple of pages all share this
Oh, and because of the changes Blizzard introduced, getting a 'good game' is tougher this time around =\ Good luck!

Hey! First off, thanks for all your hard work on this program, it is awesome! I have a smurf, however, and the mmr last season was pretty bad (About 2200MMR - 2800 was GM), but now it's saying the GM league promo will happen at 2150~ and the account is already at 2110. Is GM league not accurate or is it super easy to make gm now?
xD
Thanks~!

Super easy - just be top 200 on the server for September 19 and play a game after GM league goes live!
The notion of a cutoff line doesn't really work for GM league - it will be set by whoever is #200, not a fixed (or approximate) cutoff as per the other divisions.
Maybe skeldark can track this, but it will be a moving target for the next week...
