Anyway i can start using this? After MMR tool supporting HotS is released all old S11 games will be moved to archive. All recorded S12 (this season) will be set to be "unknown games" (old version has no game version detection), but it is possible for the user himself to manually set correct game for each match by editing the data file. If they are manually set, those games can be used as estimate games. But only after the HotS support is released it is possible to record 'good games'. And a 'good game' in MMR tool slang means a game from which MMR can be calculated. If you have not yet started to use the tool, it is probably better to wait until a version that supports HotS is released (will likely be released next week, but no eta yet). If you have used the tool for longer period, then just keep using the old version, but do not trust the graphs (unless you play only WoL). Data for the last season (+ older data) will be archived. Data for this season games recorded with old version of the tool will be hidden (set as unknown games) when new version of the tool is released. But that data can be 'restored' by the user himself, if he manually sets the correct game version for each match (HotS or WoL),

After the version that supports HotS is released it will help a lot. --> without lots of data the new changed offsets cannot be calculated too accurately. Regarding playing with the old version: The data itself is not usable for calculating offsets or such. But it is not useless. I can see lots of special cases in the data recorded by the old version that I should take a look before the HotS version is released. For example I see some map names that likely belong to vs AI or practice modes... In those cases I have to check how I can prevent that (already know how to fix couple of cases). I also have to check if a certain special rule causes more pre/post game data to be set bad than desirable (before the changes it was desired, but not necessarily after the changes. Once again I can search if there is data that match that criteria). --> It still helps us, even if not as much than before HotS release. After the HotS version is released the more data we get the better.

So MMR stats does upload data after each game? I've never used it since I just got back into starcraft when hots was released =). It uploads the data after each game if the user has not disallowed it from the settings. Match data is kept private.

Or am i just being retarded. MMR tool does not support HotS yet. Thus the MMR graphs with old version are inaccurate unless you have played only WoL ladder (no HotS ladder at all). All new games are marked as 'bad' at the moment. The MMR can only be calculated from a 'good game' (impossible to get before HotS support). Many have older 'good games'. Thus the new 'bad games' can be used as 'estimate games' for them even if you cannot calculate MMR directly based on 'bad games'. I hope that we can release new version this week but no promises. There has been lots of unforeseen work (things that had to be done now and not later like I had planned) and thus it has taken longer than I originally expected. As the tool is a legacy program (most of the code by skeldark) we have to be extra careful not to break things, understand what we change & test the changes carefully. For example earlier today it seemed that a release candidate could have been ready today or tomorrow, but then realized that I had totally forgotten character name changes and likely broken character associations regarding name changes. Have to go through all changes, fix things & test them. It is possible that also other issues that delay the release are found.

But we would like little help from you to solve so called server ID:s for following servers: All character account folders are typically stored under following folder (OS language may affect some of the folder names): C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts\[BNETACCOUNTID]\ The character account folders are named in following format X-S2-Y-ZZZZZZZ, where X is server ID, Y 'subserver ID' and ZZZZZZZ character ID. We already know following server IDs: US = 1, EU = 2, PTR/beta = 98. We need server IDs for When you have solved the server ID for one of these servers ( Currently known IDs: US = 1, EU = 2, KR =3, CN = 5, SEA = 6, PTR/beta = 98 Edit: Only the hardest one (China) remains, which is not accessible via global play. Edit 2: Now all server codes are known. Thanks exKid and Dakota_Fanning!

Some of the server codes have likely been taken by the old servers such as Russia, South-America & Taiwan, which have since been merged to the current servers. That explains why there is gap before SEA code.
