The diam-master offset for last season used by the tool was 380 (in the MMR tool scale). Please note that you can't just apply that to visible points / adjusted points as they do not present your MMR. Adjusted points may differ from your relative MMR for multiple reasons. You get better hints from your typical opponent's adjusted points than your own.

Nice, that offset is actually really close to the last known value of 36*7+125.55=377.55 (36 per division tier, 7 tiers, 125.55 gap from top Diamond to Master).

Hi again! Any update on the likelihood of a release this week?

Just be patient. He's doing his best to get it out as fast as possible with minimal errors. Things like this just take time...

Where can I download it?
|
I used the in-tool updater, but it keeps re-downloading the update, no matter how many times I reset sc2gears.

2013-03-28: MMR tool 9.0 released - Supports HotS! Please read details from the original post.
- Please update Sc2gears to latest version before updating the MMR tool! Latest Sc2gears & Java 7 are required.
- Please use the tool! We need lots of data to be able to calculate new offsets for different leagues.
- Read v 9.0 Questions & Answers from the original post!
Edit: There was an issue regarding the update package that made updates fail if the update was done via 'update button'. Manual updates had no problems. This issue has now been solved & updates via 'update button' work again.

Link can be found from the original post. Will have to check the updater later (it is one thing that I did not check, but did not alter either as it has been working nicely for many versions of the tool).
Edit: Quickly tested the updater. It downloaded the the new version correctly to folder '[PATH_TO]\Sc2gears\Plugins\' with name 'mmrupdate.zip' but did not replace the plugin folder with its contents. Likely some bug in older code (in v 8.2 which is now inhereted by the new version too). If you used the update button you don't have to download the zip manually from the OP:s address. Just find the zip the tool downloaded.
Edit2: Did some more testing. Cause of the problem was unsupported structure of the zip file. The old updater expects that the zip file does not contain directories, but each file still knows its true directory path. This will be later 'fixed' by replacing the update package on web server with package that meets these requirements. And fully fixed in future versions of MMR tool by adding code that handles directories correctly.

Same problem with the updater.

Updated it manually and it worked. Thanks! So all games from before won't apply, right? We are starting from zero?

Read the questions and answers from the original post. Old games from old seasons have been moved to archive. Games from this season have been set to unknown product (can be both HotS & WoL). You can manually restore those games by editing the data file (instructions in original post. Involves editing one value for each match, but you need suitable text editor to do it).
