I agree with some of the comments here that the moderation on this thread has been dreadful. It's way too soft. I have gone ahead and simply deleted a bunch of comments that fail TL's community standards. Yes, those standards are determined by the mods. Yes, those standards are not perfect nor even uniformly applied. But we try our best. Spare us your righteous indignation over any notional impairment of free speech. This is a private site. It's a club. There is no "right" to free speech here. We only tolerate quality speech. By who's standards? Ours. Go read the TL Ten Commandments.
