But i'm also not really comfortable with the unit comp yet, it's a very different experience. Although I think mech is more viable on 6m1hyg maps. Just open with a bunker and 4 rines, then power up on facs. With 2 base hyg income you should be able to make 3 tanks constantly, which allows for a pretty big mech ball in the mid game. Should save up a little more gas, so you can throw down some factories for more hellions too (my bad). Though one of the biggest weaknesses I've seen in mech play is Protoss air. We don't have goliaths anymore, so an air transition or marines, or tons of turrets ![]() Last thing, I REALLY want to see some pro games on these maps, or some pro analysis. I want to see what they think. | ||

We need to get the guy who did arrival to make it 2 gas, and then make sure others do the same. ![]() its not balanced with 2 gas though, I talked to Barren tonight and I really think the answer is 2 gas but gathers only collect 3 per trip. This would make mineral and gas reduction both at 25%. I didn't come up with this idea but I will repeat it because I really think its the best answer and does not change balance that much. | ||
