I think I like the wider natural for korhal Also, I wonder why they changed the area behind the natural minerals. Is it just to make it look more standard? Or is it so it's harder to hide stuff back there (either you or your opponent). It could actually help things such as bunker rush and sneaky canons since it's smaller and therefore easier to wall off right? xD | ||

TBH, it was sort of a distraction in game. We would've preferred it stay in but considering what sort of audience Blizz has to appeal to, it's an understandable choice. | ||

I believe the area behind the natural was changed to be more congruent with the other current ladder maps, as you said. But yes, it will be slightly easier to bunker rush and cannon rush. There is also less room to defend drops, like placing turrets or just getting a ling surround. | ||

Maps that don’t make the cut will be replaced by maps that meet the standards set by major tournaments all around the globe. NICE! Also, I'm sad that BOTH xel'naga and arid are being removed T_T. I don't really like to play on neither one, but they're good for mech! fuck xD Arid, though perhaps imbalanced, as an interesting and unique map. I liked how you have 3 different decently reasonable thirds to choose from. Maybe though it is just some simple things that make it imba (like the natural?) and they could fix them later and put it back into ladder? (note they say retire the map for season 6 lol) | ||
