At least it's a non-1a late game unit. Without the Mothership, Toss can't do anything vs a good Zerg Deathball. The vortex is not imbalanced: it can be countered by splitting the Zerg army, with neural or by sending banelings in the vortex, etc.. For its price, the Mothership is a decent unit that adds more than just DPS for the deathball, which is what this game needs. | ||

I do remeber you seeing in the M23 Zerg keyboard topic where the OP posted a funny picture and after that all we could hear from you is butthurt whining and biased senseless comments like "Zerg is the most demanding race while Terran is the least", which is quite lol considering Zerg's almost 1aish battle micro and the fact that people in the Race switching topic generally say that terran is the most mechanically demanding. So basically you are just a nomatterwhat-terran hater probably because you're losing against them a lot. ![]() L2P -------------------------------- Oh and yes we want the Carrier Back!! The mothership is symptematic of what is bad about the current protoss design. games should not come down to good or bad vortex from a single unit that takes 3 minutes to build. HT and Ghost battles come down to good or bad storm / emp, but you get a bunch of those casters meaning it's a constant micro battle to see who can get the better positioning. the mothership is insanely slow and you get 1 shot, 2 at best, to try and get those money vortexes. If you mess it up you've lost. It's that simple. I'm not saying it should be replaced with a '1A unit' but witht he mothership everything rests on the mothership not getting sniped or being unable to get archons into the vortex or whatever. It's idiotic. | ||

How about we just combine them to form the Mothercarrier! Get rid of the recall, make vortex only suck up projectile attacks and have the interceptors (now name Mini-Mothers) be the only thing the Mothercarrier cloaks. Also, it is no longer an air unit, now it is a submarine. Similar to how the Mothership cloaks the units under it, Mothercarrier will wet the ground beneath. It will cost 1000 minerals flat, with the spells not using energy but vespene gas instead. Boom, I just fixed Starcraft. | ||
