I wish could support TSL. Every quality player they create gets stolen by a big team. Wish they would for once get a break.

And as someone pointed out this is going to make KR/Western relations a bit more tense and strained.

time for korean teams to realize that a handshake doesnt mean much when theres money to be made. they NEED to sign these players to contracts and thats that.

i understand the korean way of doing business is different from the foreigner way and they believe that a verbal promise/agreement holds its value but when theres thousands of dollars to be made with a player you cant just shake their hand and make them promise they'll stay

all the fault is on the TSL management at this point.... fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.

aLive was apparently poached (I had heard otherwise, this is news to me) and left the team house with his best friend who's name I won't reveal.


with the exception of rain, all of those indicate some kind of discontent with TSL. a player who's happy with the team he's in doesn't just switch unless they're offered a shit ton of money (and if that's consistently the case with TSL then they're mismanaging their finances and/or sponsorships).

SangHo and JYP didn't like the new, stricter practice schedule Coach Lee was forming the team around
Clide, I'm not sure if he was discontent in the house or not, but he apparently took the restructuring as a time to ask his leave.


so all of that, combined with heart leaving, plus the FD/tester fiasco, plus the fact that coach lee used to be an MBC coach (a team famous for getting their good players like bisu or julyzerg bought out because they stiffed their players hard on salary), doesn't seem to have the least bit to do with TSL's management?

Considering Coach Lee is talking about taking legal action for a breack of contract.... I'm assuming he did sign hs players to a contract....

I'm interested to see what kind of damages Coach Lee would be suing for under the breach of contract.

I can't see a team like Fnatic just choosing to ignore the fact that he was contracted.

EDIT : I would love to see a modern ESPORTS boilerplate contract. Anyone have any ideas of where I could find one?

Coach Lee is like a children that whines because he lost his toys. If you are that concerned about losing your players, then manage your team better, sign contracts that don't let his happen for example.

What is going on here? It seems like TSL is in the right here (unless the contract term was up or something), but why is TSL bleeding players so badly? Is it really unpleasant to live in that team house or something?

Why does this always happen to TSL? Hopefully things turn out well.. because it seemed like TSL and Fnatic seemed to have a good relationship as Rain left TSL on good terms with the coach... Didn't know about their supposed partnership either, must be a sticky situation.
