Discussing the controversy and stating your opinions in a constructive way is fine, but there will be bans for any player/organization bashing without anything to substantiate it.

I dont know what's wrong with coach lee and TSL but this is not the first time, and its only happend to them...No other team has complained about a team stealing their players... Maybe they are scared of foreigners...

He does seem to be the only one whining about players being signed to other teams. Wasn't he also involved with the whole Fruitdealer thing where TSL was receiving money for sponsors, but the fruitdealer was not?

From what we heard after the Puma issue, it sounded like Puma a verbal contract and was not paid(beyond room and board). I don't know if he takes his players for granted or will not speak with other teams about signing players. The first time I was willing to listen, the second I questions what is going on. If there is a third time, I am going to say that coach Lee might be expecting unreasonable things.

Something really must be wrong with how TSL/Lee handle things, it just seems nonsensical that it's always just TSL that gets players stolen by 'evil' foreign teams (at least EG is Evil)

But at least the gave alive a contract, guess they learned something....

However the fruitdealer issue wasn't true, sc2con find out FD and TesteR were lying so they were let back in to sc2con.
Puma was paid (he was the team captain) but he wasn't contracted (cultural aspect in Korea).
This is pretty much the same thing as Puma situation, the diffrence is that aLive is under contract.

Coach Lee is a serial passive aggressive muck-slinger, how many more times do we have to put up with his finger-pointing and the face-saving / nice guy parades he puts on after each incident? This guy is at the heart of so much drama and he's the only constant, be glad when he is gone. He ALWAYS settles his issues by airing them to the public, playing the victim, and taking umbrage and it's total transparent BS.
He saw how civilized men behave, he never forgot and he never forgave.

The only time this has happened was when Puma got contracted by EG. stop the bs.

It's always TSL saying something, people trashing them on it when the other side makes the issue fuzzy, and then when it turns out Coach Lee was right those people either shift defenses or silently wait for the next time to repeat the cycle.

People called Coach Lee a liar when he said Puma got poached, when it turned out EG really went after him they shifted to the no contract defense.
People called Coach Lee a liar when Fruitdealer/Trickster left claiming they didn't get paid, s2con expelled him and when it turned out he was right by providing bank statements everyone felt stupid and retracted accusations.
People are calling Coach Lee a liar again here when he says alive broke the contract Lee learned to make after issue #1 and left the team to join fnatic after being convinced by (or misunderstanding?) their translator.

It's kind of weird.

Coach Lee turned out to be the jackass in the Puma situation, if I do say so myself. Crying bloody-murder to the Korean press after Puma and Lee had a talk about it, and EG was preparing to offer them compensation but never got the chance.

I'll see you in a week when the truth about Lee comes out -- again.

Well contracts can be broken, depending on how they are written. A buy out is also an option and it is normally the best for all parties, unless coach Lee wants to make sure aLive can play for no one but TSL(a super jerk move if there are other options, IMO).

I wish he would handle this crap in private, rather going nuclear every time he loses a player. He does not need to go to the public and media every time TSL is "wronged". It seems like a bad way to handle it and with the great relationship other teams have (Slayers-EG, oGs-Liquid) it makes me wonder. I don't think Coach Lee is a bad guy, but there is a lot of drama surrounding his team.

WTF is with this, anyway? So you can't talk to a player from another team, except if you talked to their team manager first? It's bullshit. Do you need to talk to the boss of someone before offering him a better job nowaday? That's completly retarded. You go to him, you offer him a spot in your team... and if he is interested, then you go discuss contract business with his manager. Logical step.

None of these 3 happened, but he still left the team. thereby he breached his contact.

And you know this how? You know they didnt have any clauses or something that made it so he can leave?

In a live interview with Alex Garfield, the situation they went through was detailed on LO3, and it was never commented by TSL. That means that they indirectly approve of what he said...otherwise they would come out and say "no it wasn't like that". Details about contracts may not be known...but the way things went...and why the fictional conflict was started by Lee was said and indirectly approved.

wait did I miss a thread where aLive was picked up by fnatic? the move didn't even occur right? why is coach lee so eager to accuse and cause drama? I'm really sad for TSL, but fnatic didn't really do anything it appears

Yeah I don't see how Lee can still be given the benefit of the doubt in these situations.

Coach Lee needs to stop being a cry baby just because players don't want to be on his team. Seriously, it can't possibly be that tons of teams are actively cooperating to bring TSL down, the issues must be coming from within.

They (TSL) did not have contracts back then, they got contracts after the EG-Puma drama.
