Hi first post here so be gentle..

So I was listening to the Radio 1 show kutski does

and i was raving away and was very happy when i heard "our drones are under attack" :D
anyway tell me if its not only me that finds this super sweet

Ah thats pretty damn cool getting aired on Radio 1.

on a side-note: I actually had this song on while playing cod the other week, I was rather confused, thought I joined a game in the backgound or so. Cool song though! 0o

Pretty neat. That second one includes some Zerg samples as well (I recognised Baneling sounds at the beginning). Here's another: one of DJ QBert's tracks from Wave Twisters samples the Adjutant from one of the first Terran briefings in the vanilla SC campaign (edited a bit, the word "press" before "start" is cut out).

if that would work half of the electronica music would be sued

sampling and/or altering is so common in music industry you wouldn't even believe

btw reminds me of Fight Club using zerg theme in 1 scene

I also heard sounds of unloading/loading bunker on TopGear and i swear i hear the beginning of the Find Match sound effect in Sherlock alot, very scary sound... Seems like Britain loves SC

I remember that Fight Club one! Listening more closely though, you can hear that there are parts in the original Zerg briefing room theme that are missing from that bgm in that scene. Chances are that the familiar part is simply a common sample that happened to be used in both. Chances are some of the sound effects in SC1 are also from some stock sound effect libraries, too. The Academy uses the infamous "Gut-wrenching scream and fall into distance", for example.
