All this did is further empower GOM as a league above all of SC2 esports, intentional or not, and fans/players are willing to sit back and take it. GOM IS NOT AT FAULT. Bitch all you want, but GOM IS NOT AT FAULT. Thats why Naniwa/Quantic made an excuse and GOM is only writing an explanation. GOM IS NOT AT FAULT. Also: The punishment isn't really "hard".. A Korean probably would get a livetime ban for doing something like this...

Seems a little fishy. This, pretty much. Let's just change the seeding and not tell ppl ahead of time regarding the purpose or intent, EVEN WHEN MLG states otherwise....... yeah, dude!! No rules broken, but you broke my definition of a progamer, therefore you get punished. Okay?

Hopefully Blizzard won't give the next SC2 contract to you but to KeSPA. LOL can you honestly sit here and say or think that KeSPA would not do something like this? Can you really man? Are you trying to make a joke? Also how in the world can you suddenly just hate GomTV and wish them to bite the dust over an incident like this which clearly goes against their cultures morales and code of conduct in competition such as this. Perhaps the punishment is really harsh but how can you just wish for such terrible things when they have done so well for the starcraft 2 community for so long.

You know as well as I do that if this incident had not occurred, he was guaranteed a spot in code s. In my eyes gomtv is taking what he has been told is a code s spot away just due to an unwritten rule.

The whole giving seed to Sen/Idra based on performance when we know its because of their fan base ( stop lying and be honest for once) 3. Lying about the whole Naniwa Providence Seed part ( if you never gave him a code S spot then how the heck can you punish him by taking it away). Sorry but there is no way i will ever support GOM in the future. I for one will vote with my wallet and not buy anymore tickets and I will tell all my friends to avoid it as well This is wrong, the post was mistranslated about him being a money hunter. And if you will read the post you will see the part about them changing the way code s works for 2012. Now.... Calm down ![]()

Sorry but there is no way i will ever support GOM in the future. I for one will vote with my wallet and not buy anymore tickets and I will tell all my friends to avoid it as well 1) they didn't slander him live, at least do your due diligence in research and learn that they didn't say anything slanderous about him, They said he acted unprofessionally at best and that he was acting as a young man rather than a professional. The original translation has already been rectified by CryingPoo as being incorrect. 2) They probably did take their popularity into account, but they could've picked other 'popular' figures too, they specifically chose people who have had success in recent tournaments, namely Idra at IEM Ghangzhou, and at Orlando, and Sen coming in at 3rd at the blizzcon invitational, AND both of them previously had qualified for GSL tournaments in the past. I fail to see how their reasoning which isn't clearly stated as a hard point system we can argue is anything but that, an invitational system that THEY choose from. 3) They never lied about this, they said they were considering giving it to him because in their 'list' of players to invite he was #1 based on results recently, but because of these turn of events it got bumped down. Again, it seems you're spouting off in response to the original wrong reports about 'banning' and 'amateur bounty hunter' that never was actually stated by anyone at Gom. So please, don't try to screw up these 2 professional responses by both Gom and Naniwa/QxG by filling it with further misinformation that is ALREADY cleared up.

Naniwa said he'll stay away from the GSL for a season to show his regret. It's similar to the Coca case.

And Im happy that it's IdrA and SEn getting the spots, since they actually qualified for GSL before. They did that through actual qualifiers in Korea before that are SOOOO much harder than by "impressive " results in an MLG poleposition spot vs opponents fighting their way through the Open Bracket in MLG. I think the next GSL season will be kickass. Buy the tickets!

This is tyranny I say. | ||
