Sure, it was a dick move on Naniwa's part, but had GSL not allowed players to play a pointless match, this never would've happened in the first place. I'm not so sure I wanted to see two players perform while pulling punches "for the sake of entertainment" anyway. And what reason does GSL have for throwing Naniwa out? Do they have a rule that explicitly states players may not act like dicks?

(Taiwanese fans and such) That is good enough reason for GOM to give them a Code S spot But that's a pretty terrible way to run a tournament. It may be good from a business point of view but it ruins the competition lol.

They have an actual off-season this time so they certainly wouldn't have problem with just holding a small online tournament to determine who deserves the Code S. Because Idra and Sen are popular and they're selling season tickets. 'IDRA, HUK, AND SEN IN THE NEW SEASON OF GSL 2012!' will sell. They want new viewers/more money. That's all this is.

Jinro declined it when he thought he wasnt good enough for it. But failed very close on making it into Code A twice after those offers. I think he may changed his mind because of this. If not he will win his Code A Spot anyways! HOPE!

Idra got the spot because he's popular and GSL wants more foreigners so that their tickets sell. It's not because his skill is above all others trying to qualify that he needs to go straight into Code S. I like Idra. I want him in Code S. But I want to see him earn it by testing his skills in Up-and-Downs. This is an obvious move by GOM to not completely upset foreign fans. If you've seen some of the stupidity on the forum lately they're saying korean netizens are being racist against naniwa if they decided to punish him for what he did.

A small case can be made for Idra as he did well in MLG And Naniwa which qualified and just due to a probe rush has lost his GSL spot... In the future no cannon rush/4gate/6pool can be done as it is inappropriate and has too low chance of winning?? WTF GOM... You're right, Sen has no accomplishments such as qualifying for GSL in its open seasons and making it to the RO16 where he faced Nestea when he was unbeatable ZvZ, and gave Nestea two of his closest ZvZ's of all time.

Given there's actually some downtime till next season I'd have thought he has plenty of time both to rest and get some practice in. Maybe doctor's orders are he takes some serious time off though =? I hope you're right, man. I love me some sC. Hopefully he'll be back.

If you try to cheat/exploit the system to get into the GSL like Choya did, you basically have to apologize and eveything is fine. If you matchfix in games that actually matters for GSL, you get a "temp ban" by your team, not by the league. And if you proberush in a game that had no other purpose than to take place in a tournament not directly related to the GSL, you lose your whole progress in the GSL and get punished by the league in the hardest way possible Sorry GOMTV, as much as I respect you, but I think you made the wrong decision. EDIT: Ok I was wrong about Choya not getting a punishment. He was banned from GSTL, yes, however this is not even near to losing your code s spot. Also, the game where coca did matchfix was not for the GSL, but it did actually matter. I stand corrected but the point is still there.
