Why invite the winners of all major tournaments to a cup that is supposed to determine king of kings and then make it a best of 1? There is noone to blame for this predicament but GSL. Why should you buy an Idra or Destiny t-shirt? Why are combat ex and deezer more popular than people with 10x their skill? This is good for quantic, there is no such thing as bad publicity. No such thing as bad publicity? You think deezer and combat ex are getting invited all across the world to major tournaments because they're well known? No, they're basically getting blacklisted. They're blacklisted from TL as well.

Would be nice to get a mod notice or warnings/bans to clean it up, but I understand if they're too busy at the moment.

1) This is unprofessional (as long as eSports are considered a professional activity, analogue to any other sport) 2) This should have consequences because people are paying to be entertained (as mentioned), and to prevent this from happening again, regardless of the match in itself having no impact on the later stages of the tournament. 3) People are going out of their way to make deals across leagues. Code S seeds and other league/cup invitations are supposed to create an interest and/or hype for spectators. If a sore loser (i.e. immature/anti-social person) just loses on purpose in the last set, people not getting what they pay for/expect (as mentioned in 1). Is this too harsh? If you think so, then why bother being active in reading/"opinionating" in forums like this? It's just counter productive.

First of all, E-sports is big in Korea. Go youtube the MSL, OSL matches and look at the crowd they produce. If that's not enough, then look through TL BW Forums, look at the pictures. Does your brain now register how recognised E-sports is in Korea? Now look back at what Naniwa just did. Nestea just wanted to play a good game with Naniwa, and what did he do? Probe rush. No attempt at proxy gate or anything, straight up probe rush. How can you blame this on the format? This is a showmatch to begin with, so fucking show some respect to Koreans at least, show some respect to viewers too. If you are fed up, well we know, and we will continue rooting for you after this tournament but just play the game like it's meant to be played, not attack with ONLY workers, which arn't even meant to be attacking units.

Both stephano and brat_OK did funny and silly things. Making the games at least fun to watch. If Naniwa did something simialr and had fun the game. It would be different. The fact that he did not have the (urge?) to show at least a funny or silly game makes it a lot worse. They still played the match, Naniwa didn't

I like how it's just a "game" yet they decide to invest over 10 hours a day playing it.

See how well Deezers and Combatexes publicity is working out for them? There are people liek you who think they arent invited because theyre blacklisted and not because theyre bad.

Don't blame to him. He's also just a person. He's not a beast. He seems just cold but he just doesn't show. but you guys already show and edit lots of his data right ? I'm also understand korean newspaper against to him but. We didn't see so let's not judge. I just think, this happening just can regards as abstrain. like yes, football kick his ball into his goal. He must just tired, after long trip to meet new people(where are all koreans there) . Let's try to understand him as a person. Not just score/ or money or appearance. He's now in new country, new people in his young age. I expect another succeed in his life again. I tried to mention his schedule to say his background. Hope you guys understand a little bit too.

He's not a guest - he earned the right to be in that tournament. Besides, it's quite rude to force your own etiquette upon your guests. Sure as hell wouldn't invite you around my house. When you visit another country/someone elses house, general etiquette is as far as possible you abide by their rules/culture, and if you don't like that, then you leave. I get the feeling that most of the people in this thread defending Naniwa are very young or have zero manners/etiquette themselves.

They still played the match, Naniwa didn't who are you to decide what's funny and silly for the rest of us? probe rush is funny and silly as much as BC rush in Stephano vs BratOK is. and equally "fair play", no matter how you justify it ;-)
