Orb your analysis is great like others have said. As for the personality thing people are saying, I wouldn't try to do anything that's not you or show fake enthusiasm because it is not needed in your case. If anything I would say slow down a little bit more when you are talking and giving analysis after the games mostly. At times it seemed you were rushing to get what you wanted to say out (some might be due to your co-caster, not sure) so I would say that was the main thing I was thinking while watching you. Anyways keep working at it man!

I though about what other caster would be a good fit for you and in my opinion the best would probably be Incontrol (i know he is not a caster but hear me out).You need someone exciting, witty and who knows when to cut you off when need be.

Sometimes I wish Inc was a full time caster, but then i find myself wishing he would come back to his former level instead

Seeing you develop since you first started casting has been a treat. You've grown immensely, and have become a really really strong caster overall. I don't see a need to become some huge personality, as that isn't your style. You would be forcing something that isn't needed. You're a beast Jake, and I've loved your casting for a long time. <3

Orb you are an excellent caster and very passionate about the game and it its obvious when you cast. I only have a few suggestions.

1. Normally you dont fall victim to this when you cast the Korean weekly, but at this live event it seemed as if you were trying to force the excitement onto the match instead of letting an exceptional match get you excited.

2. Be more patient. I find many casters get caught up in the action and instead of letting the game unfold. I saw the french player ToD cast some great games with Khaldor and he was an excellent caster. He was so patient and didnt rush his words. Always letting the game be the centre of attention and providing great analysis, and some humour for filler when needed. I really enjoyed this! It was much more relaxing to listen to and seemed much more professional.

Other than those 2 things you are amazing orb!

Yo orb, love your casting. You do a fantastic job using your game knowledge in your casting. Honestly, the only suggestion I have is to soften your word choice and tone when being critical of play. I love the fact that you ARE critical, so please do not change that. However, when being critical, try to soften your tone slightly. Sometimes it can come off as slightly mean spirited, but other than that, keep up the good work!

Orb, please don't listen to these comments. You don't need new glasses. Yours are fine. If we can live in a world where there are fewer thick-rimmed hipster glasses, we will all be better off.

I have to say, you are probably the caster who is most open to criticisms. I think a lot of casters have let their surge of fame get to their head, and most of the popular casters are quite egotistical.

I watched ur stream b4 NASL etc and always enjoyed ur casting there, cos u seemed to be more relaxed (u didnt rush ur words or excitement). I take my hats off for you, taking these suggestions! You're doing a amazing job in such short time, and I hope to see you in more NASLs & other events! I'm sure you'll develope ur own persona while casting, and ye it's ok to let the game dictate the pace, instead of forcing your own pace (by showing fake enthusiasm or fast analysis while lotsa action happening). U can always wrap up at end.

Keep it up & grats on a great casting career so far

Loving your casting Orb, have watched you since beta.

It's cool/brave of you to open this type of thing up. Your analysis and game knowledge is really good but I feel something is lacking with you and Gretorp together. I noticed sometimes during a tense moment you use your vast analytical prowess to talk very fast when sometimes it's fine to just keep it simple, acknowledge the situation as tense, and just draw some emotion to get the viewers to feel it as well.

Nice job overall and keep up the good work!

I think you did a fine job. I'd also like that your personality got through a little more at times (like it does on your stream). Everything doesn't have to so serious.
