Ok so... I can't help but wonder what kind of units the swarm host makes, and if Hydras are going back to T1 because of it and getting this as a T2 morph or not.

If it just makes broodlings, then you're going along a costly upgrade path getting hydras and probably other ranged units, then make this thing, and wind up with unupgraded melee units that will be fairly ineffective?

I just can't help but wonder how they're gonna make it synergize with the ranged based army it's going to be opened from.

It doesn't mean what builds are being constructed (why would you need a special unit to see that anyway?), rather, what units are being made in that building.

I'm quite surprise, Blizzard rejects to equal the amount of units in each race, and in fact it makes it worse adding less units to the race with the less amount, its not logical, hope someone can ask it on Blizzcon, I really want to hear the excuse for this.


Terran are getting a transforming hellion. I'm pretty sure Terran already has a unit they'll need to cut out to put that in.

We're also getting a mini-thor. Again, I'm pretty sure something will be removed to make room for that.

I think the replicant is probably not going to work that well. We'll see in the beta, but it seems like a meh design.

It's correct. You can already see what structures are being made by clicking on them.

This will show WHAT the starport/barracks/engineering bay is building.

Why do zerg only get 2 units?



I dont see any unit other than the Overseer being removed for Z, and thats not a huge loss as i am sure detection will be more spread out (they will have to)

I see P and T losing some more significant units, so i guess its okay.

The marauder isn't getting replaced.

That would literally mean that bionic play is dead and the only unit is the basic marine. The thor is the one going bye bye.

This leaves terran users a choice of going bio with the marine/marauder combo or going for the warhound/hellion/tank route.

What makes you think so? I don't see any of these units replacing the colossus.

Protoss is getting smacked around now. In the expansion, there wouldn't even be any Code A Protosses.
