i think its a good thing imo builds suspense makes the community look more exiting then just one announcement that quickly gets glossed over, real sports have hype like this too right?
at the very least, it gives the ppl bored at work something to read
EG buys startale and Hoseo. Combines the E from EG, the STR from startale and the O from Hoseo and make a new coalition team called Estro, but the korean players did not approve of the spelling of the name so they changed it to eSTRO.

Ya, but then it looks really bad when it turns out that the announcement is that InControl took the biggest dump since inception of the team house

In the most recent games played by IM in GSL they weren't wearing their uniforms with sponsors. Obviously they are in the process switching to a new sponsor/team.
oh my lord EDIT: If I knew a crazy four horsemen of the apocalypse quote, I'd drop it right here.
and behold the pale horse, and the man who sat on him was death, and hell followed with him (tombstone version of the quote).

If this was the case it would be amazing for EG.
you kidding, a IM/EG even partnership would be the biggest news in Starcraft this year. Only thing that could top it would be a slayers/Prime merg. best foreigners (minus a few of course) with the immortal Nestea and MVP would dominate 50% of all tournaments 100% of the time.
Lololol i just remembered Something From the video of Huk joining EG. in the description of the video there was a line saying: "Oh, what's that? You want more? Okay. Coming soon: An announcement."
(in the buttom of the Description)
how could i forget this :D i guess the thing they are announcing this time was planned for along time right now, assuming 3 month since the Huk to EG video.
Must have been something really big if it took so much time and preperation :D

that would very disappointing, no offense to quantic gaming but i think EG could find better teams to work with.
There's a lot benefit with team up with quantic gaming, they don't have any big name sponsors right now, so no sponsor conflicts, and SaSe is already in Korea, Destiny are planning to go, with huk, Idra, Puma, that's a GSTL team, and i'm pretty sure there will be more players want to go between those 2 teams.
here's some hint from quantic gaming October 7th, SaSe joins Quantic Gaming: already in Korea, join the team after EG planing to set up a house in Korea. October 11th, Destiny joins Quantic Gaming: Destiny talk about one of the big reason why he join quantic gaming is because some huge announcement during Blizzcon.

The thing is, is that if EG wanted Sase I am sure they could have just bought him, unless he had a personal disagreement with EG, in which case a partnership wouldn't work. WTF would they get from Destiny, it would benefit Quantic definitely to get Huk Idra and Puma as practice partners, but I don't see how it would benefit EG in the slightest.

Well to be honest, the only reason this stuf is hyped because its EG rather then the way they do it. A lot of ppl could make weird kind of puzzles like this and not many ppl care. If they simply said "we will anounce something on x" would have given the same hype, just less random speculation.

ya the only benefit to this is that EG would get more bodies for GSTL.... that's about it.

Reduce costs? More practIce partners? It's a big deal, but not a big deal that could be bad for anyone in any way. Even if destiny wouldn't be a huge benefit to the team it isn't like he brings them down by practicing with them in Korea if that were the case. His presence would either be neutral or positive.
