idra might be the best zerg in slayers house. coca is a great player and his zvp is amazing, but his zvt(there isnt any zerg with no problem with zvt, even drg) will need to get good in code S. im a big fan of slayersyugioh on his stream too. but i really think idra might be the better one. if he can learn from coca's zvp, does his own zvt, then idra would be amazing( but then again they may have no correlation at all). Besides, he gets to practise with mma and boxer and ryung and ganzi and taeja. As for zvz---- don't know anyone thats anywhere near nestea.

About Coca, his ZvT has improved drastically since moving into the SlayerS house. On the other hand his ZvP has been lacking a bit (he played very strange against Tassadar in the Korean Weekly). But yea, IdrA vs. Coca is pretty close.

People keep saying that... and it might be true... but it's been 6 months since the WC. NesTea admitted his ZvZ was bad at that time. He has improved leaps and bounds. I mean he 4-0ed LosirA (the second best korean zerg) in a MU that is occasionally luck dependant.

I don't think we can say Dimaga is at NesTea's level in ZvZ until they play again. I just don't believe anyone is at NesTea's level.

If idra can get his godawful zvp on a remotely respectable level, he might just be the 2nd best zerg in the world.

Let's not blow stuff over reasonable proportions, shall we?

He will get better, without a doubt. But it's not his zvp his only weakness.

Dimaga's ZvZ is 63 percent against foreigners.

Nestea is at 92 percent in Korea.

There is not even a contest here.

I can't understand why SlayerS would want to do that (apart from money): any SlayerS member could easily steamroll the entire EG sans Puma and HuK. If Idra is in a good day he could help some, but he's not as good as Coca, Yu-Gi-Oh or Min, or even Cella as a coach.

The only thing I can get is that they want Puma as a training partner because he's one of the best around, but then again, any of Boxer's sons (MMA, Ryung, GanZi or Taeja) can mop the floor with him.

This rolled in alongside Quantic-IM, another foreigner-Korean pair. Easier access to foreign tournaments is a huge plus; iirc Quantic is helping to send MVP and Nestea to Providence whereas that might not have been possible without the partnership.

I don't know about you, but I don't think I could handle any more koreans in foreign tournaments; really - they're killing most of the foreigners as it is!

So just because they'r better than most foreigners they should not be allowed to compete? Then there is no reason to get better for us foreigners!
Don't you think someone who puts about 40-50 hours into practice every week should be allowed to defeat someone who practices when he feels like it?

Hey, as long as the foreign teams' business models allow them to be profitable and the foreign players be reasonably payed even if they can't beat the Koreans in the major tournaments, by all means, keep sending the Koreans over.

I agree with the other response to this above mine. (quoting takes too long?)

TBH his zvt is suited for the very top of zerg play right now. But along with his zvp lacking he isn't the best at zvz. He is certainly very good but he needs to take that matchup 1 step further at the least before people can make claims like yours.

I think Huk could really benefit from this. PvT isn't his best from what ive seen.. practicing with Boxer, MMA, Ryung, Ganzi and other good terrans in the team.
but i am really interested in how demuslim will develop and how good Idra will do against other Korean players.
dont lose because of mistakes lose because the other guys was op

Also don't forget who Idra will train with. I mean practise with MMA? Seriously?
I'd give up and go home after a 3hour session with that guy. Idra must endure the savage beating to get getter. The rewards will be great if he will though.

Seriously?? you think idra is some weak minded player?? he did have the reputation of raging before, but from what i see, he is probably one of the most hardworking, mentally strongest players.

Idra always said he has respect for many korean players. He will love getting beaten by MMA to beat MMA.
