i think its a good thing imo builds suspense makes the community look more exiting then just one announcement that quickly gets glossed over, real sports have hype like this too right? Well to be honest, the only reason this stuf is hyped because its EG rather then the way they do it. A lot of ppl could make weird kind of puzzles like this and not many ppl care. If they simply said "we will anounce something on x" would have given the same hype, just less random speculation.
No, these puzzles absolutely add to the hype. People freak out at every new clue trying to figure it out. It's pretty clear by the last time that they did this that it adds fuel to the hype. That thread was huge.

EG pays for Puma's facial hair transplantation so he, too, can sport the EG beard.

Exactly, it's really fun to get excited over these things.

SlayerS+EG is my prediction. Probably wrong but. They help with EG's team house, possibly expand SlayerS house to have more room and EG members can go there freely. PuMa, HuK and IdrA will be there + other EG members who wish to come over and practice in korea. Also opens up GSTL for EG.
Jessica has been rumored to talk to SirScoots at past events. I remember people mentioning this at NASL. Now BoxeR and Jessica have been to several events where Scoots was there as well as Alex Garfield.

The thing is, is that if EG wanted Sase I am sure they could have just bought him, unless he had a personal disagreement with EG, in which case a partnership wouldn't work. WTF would they get from Destiny, it would benefit Quantic definitely to get Huk Idra and Puma as practice partners, but I don't see how it would benefit EG in the slightest. Reduce costs? More practIce partners? It's a big deal, but not a big deal that could be bad for anyone in any way. Even if destiny wouldn't be a huge benefit to the team it isn't like he brings them down by practicing with them in Korea if that were the case. His presence would either be neutral or positive.
it could be negative, this isn't directed specifically at destiny, any new member could do this. he could not get along with the other ppl in the house. he could not be good at sc2 and bring down the practice quality, what are you going to practice if you basically run over your practice partner 5/10 to 10/10 of the time?

Will follow with muted interest, seriously this is starting to get annoying. So much hype

Seems pretty obvious so far that there is a big announcement coming for us on the 21st (hinted by the HC video, note: first day of blizzcon). Second video is pretty big hint that the announcement involves the Gracken (hinted by the kraken ). QxG has also hinted they are going to make a huge announcement on the 21st, and Destiny quoted that this announcement was big enough to make him instantly say yes for joining this team. Perhaps a collaborative korean house ?

All these snake references... EG is ditching Steelseries and Razer will be their new main sponsor. Idra and Huk will play staged showmatch agains Jesus (T) with their new Razer gear and both beat him 3-0.

You missing the point, they wouldn't team up with a big name Korean team because sponsors conflict, they need a small team with no sponsors that willing to share the cost of a team house, it's not all about benefiting the players, it's a business, they need to keep their cost as low as possible. and nobody is forcing them to practice with destiny or sase, live together doesn't mean you have to practice together.

Blizzard has bought the whole EG roster and IdrA will become a balance designer.

well i dont know where to find all the sponsors for all the different korean sc2 teams, but the only one i can think of is slayers who is sponsored in part by razer, that would conflict with steelseries of course. i have no idea what would conflict for the other teams cause i dunno who their sponsors are. IM has coca cola, and that's not a conflict (maybe, EG does have monster)

lol that touch made it for me. Jesus absolutely plays terran.
But, yeah. I think it is definitely just the official news of Idra to Korea. I'd like to see Demuslim go, too.
