a QxG EG partnership would do them wonders. EG already has a lovely GSTL line up in Huk, Puma, and Idra, but they dont have the numbers of pro level players. Only real argument is who the ace is :p
also, as someone said, reduced cost of house i'm sure both EG and QxG love. I'm sure there is going to be another QxG pick up soon anyway, wut with the third times the charm and contracts expiring.
I could very much see a "foreigner"house actually with some kind of partnership between some of the major foreign teams.

Mentions they can't talk about whats going to happen for EG in Korea. Probably part of this announcement.

Seriously guys? Again? Can't we just announce shit without stupid hype?

Probably huk will be their ace seeing as he is better in general matchups. IdrA would be a great Sniper for many of the top Terrans that we see in the GSTL since his ZvT is a beast right now but his ZvP isn't most consistant. However by MLG Huk seems to have amazing PvP so he should be able to take out most the best Protoss players. I am not sure what they would do against teams like IM who have a Zerg ace (maybe train Puma in TvZ?)

new here to TL..registered to drop in a few possibly useful tidbits;
The site shows 2 astronomical references; M68-Hydra refers to Messier 68; a deepsky object in the constellation of Hydra. M5-Serpens refers to Messier 5; another deepsky object in the constellation of Serpens.
So...maybe somebody at EG is a fan of astronomy, and is inspiring hype with astronomy related objects from Charles Messier's list, combined with some mythological background of the corresponding constellation? Serpens/kraken is a given,
Astronomy...*star*craft...I see what they did there...
Both objects are globular clusters (a type of deep sky object) on the Messier list...so the next previews are going to be anything from (M2, M3, M4, M5, M9, M10, M12, M13, M14, M15, M19, M22, M28, M30, M53, M54, M55, M56, M62, M68, M69, M70, M71, M72, M75, M79, M80, M92, M107), all globulars on Messier's list.
Calling it now
Of course this adds nothing useful..just a bit of fun for anybody out there who likes to puzzle.
A bit more on topic...it could be more details on a korean time house..but since they already said Huk/Idra would be going to korea...wouldn't that be..well..overhyping a bit?

Finally announce EG house in Korea (for sure) plus partnership with IM (maybe).
That's my guess.
Keep up the hyping, it's fun to see some people rage about it :D
|
I bet they're going to sponsor a Korean team thus allowing their players to move in to an existing house, or move Korean players to a new EG house
|
I actually love EG for this, trying to solve these puzzles is so much fun :3
|
IM always said they wanted to branch off into the foreigner scene if anyone remembers, that's why they picked up fenix
|
I BSOD'ed when I loaded that page, nice...

First video: The announcement will be released on 21 Oct. Second video: Idra going to Korea very shortly. Probably for Code A?

tbh is 100% Puma he's the most consistant player, and is there ace in all the small team league tournaments getting the wins for EG

if i had to guess it has to do with the foreigners beating koreans recently hence the judgement day video, and the "release the kracken" (since greg has been doing well) video
so maybe it is something about them creating a korean house and/or competing in the gstl with another foreigner team

Snake references and the green glow. Could be razer indead

Huk does not generally play in the small team leagues though. He refuses to play online cross pacific almost always: he cannot stand the latency, with his play often being dependent on poking the enemy with split second timing. Huk played Ace for oGs in his last GSTL appearance, and went 2-0. It would probably depend on the opposing lineup though. EG even paired with a few foreigners is not deep enough to have the luxury of tweaking their lineup too much for particular situations.

Oh yay.... Over-hype.. Meh.
