Well by all means it is Fenix's money if he did win it, TT1 is just being greedy if this is true. im being greedy? pretournament we agreed (and i sent xeris a pm right after our agreement, in case something like this would have happened) that if we made it to the finals we were to share the winnings, after the finals(after i 1 base carriered him and he won) he told me that he didnt want to go through with the split, in my book the lowest thing someone can do is go back on his word after he made a promise.. hes a smart guy tho because he had both bases covered, if i had won the tournament he was gonna get a 50/50 split and if he ended up winning he wasnt gonna go throught with the split, if i cant trust someone then i dont want to have anything to do with that person and i let fnatic know my stance and told them to make a decision, a person that betrays someone elses trust and has no value for his word is the lowest form of a human being to me oh well at least he didn't cheat. yea because someone who cheated when he was 16 y.os in a game You mean 20? no when i got caught in tsl1 the replays that they referred to were dated, u should read the post i find it funny how i still have to defend myself for something that has nothing to do with you people and this situation =] if fenix were to have commited murder would u have posted.. o well at least he didnt cheat like tt1 did in sc1? LOL Yea and Fenix having success and joining IM has nothing to do with your personal grudge against him. Its funny how you don't see what a huge hypocrite you constantly are. You basically admit to match fixing by agreeing to split money then throwing the finals with lol 1 base carriers, then whine that he didn't go through with it. It's a douchebag move by BOTH of you. Sc2 is a spectator sport, you wouldn't get any money if no one was watching and fans dont want to see any sort of match fixing or playing half-assed/throwing finals because of monetary agreements that kills the whole spirit of the competition. You both made a douchebag move but you're the bigger douche for taking your personal grudge to a public forum and trying to ruin a happy announcement for the guy with a grudge that has nothing to do with him being on IM. do you know what match fixing is? its when 2 players plan out who wins in order to have people who are betting on a match profit from it, if u ever attempt to tarnish my name in that way again i swear to god please present yourself to a lan and it will fucking go down Threatening people isn't a mature thing either man, just ignore the trolls, move on, and learn from this mistake. At least be happy you got a free $5000 because GameGune was a joke competition-wise and for more money than MLG. You and Fenix should never have agreed on this to begin with because it makes for a boring finals when there is no money on the line (if both players have already agreed to split). Is that match fixing? Of course not. Does it devalue the finals by having "no" money on the line? Certainly. Congrats to Fenix on joining IM. good post, your right about everything in any case i want to make everyone happy so i wont be posting on tl anymore, dont wanna be considered part of this community anymore
OK bye. TL doesn't need a maphacker and match fixer (Backroom deals that effect in game play is fixing as it denies the spectators a legitimate match) in it's community anyway.
On top of that, way to contribute to stealing Fenix's time to shine. Which is that he has been getting really good and was adopted by probably the best Korean team out there at the moment.

Love how people jump to conclusions without actually hearing both sides of the story.

Pretty sure he meant that IM doesn't have any dominating protoss players like how MVP and Nestea are dominating.

Also, for those claiming that IM is the best Korean team... They do have two of the most dominant players in the scene right now, but I'm not sure if that's enough to be considered one of the strongest teams. There's a distinct lack of depth behind the MVP, Nestea, Losira trifecta and a serious lack of top Protoss on IM.
edit: Yonghwa is 2-2 this GSTL season (which is ok for a sniper - you kill your target then get eliminated) and Seed hasn't even played at all.

Theres a distinctive lack of top Protoss in GSL period. That being said, people are calling them a top team to denote the fact they obviously produce great players. Not really there ability to dominate the team league.

It just seems silly because its going to be a mathematical fact all protoss can't dominate at the same time, does that mean that good protoss don't exist?

Thank God. TL was really benefiting from having such a childish passive-aggressive poster. Maybe you'll have a little more time to practice now.

I definitely agree that they're a great team, I just object to people calling them the best in Korea. They are the best in Korea, period. GSTL as a league will never produce the most skilled games as long as the pricepool is so poor ($ 27,600 for winning team) compared to Monthly GSL. Top players do not want to easily "share" their knowledge as long as their are in the run for the jackpot in GSL. Thats why you rarely/never see Nestea in GSTL. If the winner price was something in the 6 digit range, you would quickly see what IM is actually capable of. The current GSTL is nowhere near an accurate measurement for teams in Korea.
