Props to Idra for going back to Korea, he definitely made the right choice, why are there not that many more EG players who are going there? I don't mean Puma or Huk, the other EG Americans.

I won't lie, I'm really disappointed that it worked out like this. The more good foreigners there are in Korea, the better, but did they really have to take HuK? EG has been surrounded by nothing but controversy, and even though the way they acquired HuK was nothing but proper... it still leaves a foul taste in my mouth, and I feel HuK was more "stolen" than he was "acquired". I feel like HuK sold out. I suppose this is how it always had to end up as starcraft continues to get bigger, and that this is pretty much what we've been asking for every time we wished for starcraft to turn into big business. I guess that makes EG the yankees now, at least if they weren't before. Hopefully by October my opinion will have changed, and no doubt i'll always cheer the foreigners in the gsl, but right now it's hard for me to support huk when he's betrayed what I always viewed as the "home team" and the "good guys".

/rant (i realize most of that was nonsensical, but i had to write something)

Very sorry, but EG just leaves a horribly bitter taste in my mouth. They are more of a Miami Heat than a Yankees if anything.

Yankees = all-round awesome
Heat = 3 good players

Earth is the home team, and humans are the good guys. EG is merely moving to another part of Earth, and Huk is still a human. This isn't some crazy Pandoran Avatar shit or anything.

the rest of the team lives there... idra isn't staying in korea permanently either. Also when there are NA tournaments Puma and Huk will be able to come over early (if GSL schedule allows it. Puma is going to AZ right after IEM) and practice with the team in the Arizona house.

For those who still have a problem with Huk going to EG, Tyler said on SOTG that he told Huk to take the EG offer. He got Tyler's blessing and if thats not enough for you, well too bad.

Wow. I feel a bit heartbroken that HuK is leaving Liquid. Still, I don't see this changing anything in terms of being a fan. I do wish I could be a fly on the wall for his practice sessions with Idra, though :D

Especially to join a team like EG... no offense to the players, but there are a lot of assholes in the organization. GL to HuK, though. Hope you don't grow to regret this.
