Shame Huk won't be able to practice in the oGs house though. I think that was the main reason he's been doing so well.

It's not the same at all. It's well documented that HuK has been performing much higher because he left the TL room and started sitting right next to the oGs Protosses, namely MC. This contributed to his wins in Dreamhack and HSC3. Having an online practice partner is not the same as having him sit right next to you in person, discussing strategy, and going over replays 14 hours a day. Also I heard some pros said that having a coach that is a pain in the neck would help a lot

On topic, I don't see how HuK will foster and develop his talent living in a house with just Idra and Puma. That is far too few practice partners. I guess the korean ladder will have to suffice. This arrangement however will surely improve Idra's game and I'd imagine it would help lonely Puma from having no partners. I think its worth noting that people like Huk. Even though he's not on TL/OGS anymore there's still a chance that he will talk to them. He's a quality player with a TOP NOTCH PvP (legend has it he has a winning record against MC lately). They might still work with him because they're friends and its mutually beneficial. I know Genius practiced with Idra when he was solo in Korea. I just hope the liquid guys aren't mad at Huk. It sucks that he switched, but my (very limited, gossip dependent) understanding is that he got a huge pay increase. If its true it the kind of pay bump that can set his entire life up well. Can't fault him for that.

The point is EG is attempting to raise their own talent, they don't just go buy other players. If you're disappointed with their results thus far than as you can see, EG is making every move they can to foster their developing talent. HuK will still practice with the OGS team, and Puma will continue to use his old practice partners from TSL, as well as others that he knows in Korea. Players are not limited to practicing with the players they live with. That idea is completely absurd.

Huk has made the decision that best suits his career, and future. Its like most of you forget this is his income, his lively hood... EG are just doing there job by trying to acquire better players for their roster... I wish Huk the best of luck with EG. And I can't wait to see Idra back in Korea, so awesome.

I have no issues with this move. E-sports is progressing, and good players will move between teams.

That and the fact when Idra came back he was winning stuff, then his performances started to suck and it seemed that korea was the only place he could go again!
