Well, hopefully this will help motivate Liquid to step it up, since HuK has been the only one enjoying a good amount of success lately - heck only half their team plays full time if you think about Tyler and TLO...

GLHF and keep it up Liquid guys, we're still fans!

We are still waiting for the comments on Milkis/Journalism topic.

On topic, the big loser here is TL no doubt. But let's see if an increase in money for Huk compensates for the change in practice he's gonna suffer.

I wouldn't be surprised if he starts slumping after this GSL

I'm willing to bet Huk continues to practice with a lot of the OGS guys. Teams in the GSL really don't mean very much.

...I wonder how many years is the contract?

Sad to see HuK leave Liquid (and OGS)...but good luck to him and will continue to cheer for him (...separately from EG hehe).

So, people have pointed out that it should say 'an hallucination' right?

Go HuK<3
Booo EG

You know, I keep seeing people say this.. `` they should be raising their own players, all they do is poach blah blah blah

And then you see people saying shit like.. ``NA has the worst players, they suck, NA players will never compete with Korean players blah blah blah, EU isn`t much better, just a little bit``

Where are these homegrown players gonna come from if we have such little choice. Anyone that is worth signing already has been. And my god, if EG signed some unkown Korean player everyone would come here to shit on them, because they went for the higher Korean talent instead of the lower american

Epic face-off photo, props to whoever shot that.

I'm glad another Western team is taking Korea seriously, but a bit sad to see HuK leave liquid. Hopefully EG can post some strong results with the new additions.

I should have seen this coming. I think, all this time, deep down, I knew all the rumors were true, but I just didn't want to believe them. HuK signing with EG is like if David Ortiz signed with, well, maybe not the Yankees, but someone else in the Red Sox division-- maybe the Orioles or the Rays.

In any case, I'm a sad panda. Jinro hwaighting.

It would be pretty interesting of oGs cut him off in terms of practice access. That's pretty unlikely though, so assuming that doesn't happen, it still won't be the same as physically being next to and discussing with players like MC. Earlier in the thread someone listed Korean teams that might work with EG and it's not a very impressive list.

probably been asked already, but what is the point of the training house in arizona if their 3 best players are going to korea?

They still will practice together but they will be in separate houses, they want to invest in their 3 best players obviously but the point of any house is to get interaction within the whole team. You dont think having Demuslim, Lz, Inc, and Machine in one house will produce any results at all? If anything they will still gain from being together and gaming + the interaction with Idra, Puma, and Huk across seas will just help them more.

+ the house like it states is when they all come back together its really worthwhile

At least we still have TLO. Business is business but to have a count down to try to create hype, LBJ style...very questionable. The thread was a slap in the face to TL as they already knew the bad news.

Only liked Huk because of TL so no big loss, but the sadness is till there.

Thank god idra is going back to Korea. Hopefully he stays there for a good 6 months or more to get back to his peak level.
Also why can't they bring a 4th player so they can at least play in the opening rounds of the GTSL or go help F.United? Would be so so so entertaining.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wonder, if it was white-ra that was signed instead, does anyone think EG would be taking so much heat? Or would it be considered a good thing?
