Also, Huk, Idra, and Puma all in Korea... EG has a good chance of having 3 code S players.

They "simply" buy their good players with lots of money, and people don't like them for that. No talent building involved, just a lot of money. Can't argue with the players that want the money. Can't argue with the club if it works for them. Still leaves a bad taste

That said, I think living away from MC is probably going to hurt him in the short term, but he can't have a guardian angel looking over his shoulder all the time, he's a big boy now. And EG probably offered a life-changing amount, so I'm ok with his decision. I hope he'll practice just as hard if not harder now that he makes more money and MC isn't around. Besides Idra and Puma, who else will be living in this future house? Has it been announced? What about the rest of EG like incontrol? So what you're saying is you would support Huk even if he turned out to be a racist? Why even put that in your message?

I doubt Liquid have made a lot if anything at all developing HuK with his contract being so close to running out.

People are only making these EVIL CORPORATION comparisons because people are quick to vilify EG. It's pretty immature, and nonsense besides. EG are working their way up in the world with a successful business model, it ought to be praised that this can even happen in esports.

Congrats on contracting a really awesome player, without things being blown out of proportion by the team owner. Considering what little I saw between HuK and IdrA at the Blizzcon Invitational, I think they both knew this before all of us. It's nice to see them accept each other, I hope it stays that way. Now, EG has NA's #1 Protoss along with NA's #1 Zerg. If Puma was from NA, that would complete the trifectum.

They're just giving him the same-ish conditions so he doesn't deteriorate. Building talent starts from the ground up, involves recognizing and nurturing talent before they are famous and require a buy-out.
