That seems much more realistic, if they just asked nazgul if they could buy out huk from the get go, you think nazgul would have just said yes? Nazgul already said they were in negotiations on his contract, EG clearly knew that Huks contract was ticking, so why is it crazy to believe that they approached Naz, Naz took it to Huk, Huk decided what was best for Huk after I'm sure both teams and Huk discussed alot of this? You think a team like TL would just completely shelter their players from these things and not tell them? Nazgul surely did the right thing, which seems to be a staple of Team Liquid, and informed Huk. TL and Huk couldn't come to an agreement as it stood, so it only makes sense this played out the way it did.

The people crying are the women and children of TL.

Either way, now that EG has an amazing player of each race, we could be seeing them on the map a lot more.

People have no idea about the kind of contracts that have been given before and how it didn't 'grow esports' Actually, it made it worse. Just like a MYM and SK in WC3. They didn't help anybody except the select few people that got the contracts tbh and certainly didn't help esports. Big contracts crippled 4K that were a huge team, and MYM for that matter too.

if you look at some of the winner interviews from gsl, players thank training partners from teams that are not their own all the time. hell, even puma still has training partners even though he left tsl. im sure there are no hard feelings between huk and ogs, so i don't see why they can't practice against each other online? sure, it's probably not quite the same as having that interaction in-house, but still. lol pretty much EG can do no right here regardless of how they chose to go about it, and no, i'm not taking sides here.

This deal was all the buzz at last MLG and even before, yet the public was completely unaware until 2 days ago. Generally things get leaked but lately things haven't. Or, like the hype thread has taught us, social media has changed the way leaks are perceived and there's so much misinformation abound that we simply ignore the truth because there's so many options. Liquid is an exemplary organization, they're not going to take parting shots. The evidence we have been provided points to things being done correctly and the right way. Based off of every message we have heard from both sides thus far. That is the evidence we have been provided from both TL and EG. The assumptions have absolutely no evidence behind them what so ever.

Well sure if huk needs to practice a build or something im sure they would still help here and there. Although some of them might be choked about him ditching them. The point is hes not going to be on the cutting edge of builds anymore ,he wont be sitting next to MC devising builds / using MC's builds that hes helped MC practice. There isnt even a protoss he can discuss strats with in the new house. To say that huk will be just as well off in his new house training wise, is totally untrue if you look at it objectively, western teams dont usually hire coaches either, so not having a coach is another big hit. Plus ogs will probably be busy with their own stuff alot , in house rankings, preparing the players who go deep in the GSL, GSTL snipers etc. They aint gonna have much time for huk.

I hope this means he will return to the machine he was back when he was in Code S pre-girlfriend and huge salary. You can pretty much expect that EG will participate in GSTL as a team and not like F.United. EG with PuMa/IdrA/HuK and then atleast 2 more players or so (demuslim and maybe sase?). I hate to admit it but EG has surely bought themselves quality but if it will work out together nicely is another question.
