Anyone who doesn't want to drop everything and move to another country is kicked? AND theyre kicking their best non-korean players because of that? Thats not good. This makes so little sense I don't even know where to begin. First of all I think FXO has set up a team house in the SEA area, outside of Korea (I can't remember the country to save my life, I'd like to say Singapore or Malaysia but I'm not very sure). This, coupled with the fact that their intentions seem to be to participate in foreign events and that they actually have foreign players, I think makes them a foreign team. And yes, if a teams ambition is to set up a team house for its players to practise in (which I think it is generally agreed on is the best way to practise) it makes sense to let go of players who are not dedicated enough to make that happen. If the foreign seen wants to reach the level of play of the Korean scene, which I think is a necessity for the foreign scene to survive long term and not turn into sc:bw all over, teams need to be ambitious and push their players to become better. To make that happen teams will most likely have to let go less motivated and dedicated players. And even the best players will eventually fall behind without enough hard work, dedication and practise. This is a long term decision from FXO, betting that in a couple of months a hard working player will be better than someone who's not motivated to put in the time to practise. I like long term planning. Hats off to FXO. | ||
