Kinda seen this coming. Moonglade was a good player but he was never really with FXO in tournaments as of late.

The statement in the OP sounds rather cold... gl in the future Moonglade, I hope you work everything out.

FXO seems to only be going in one direction now, and those who can't go with it will be kicked.
It's kinda sad really...m00nglade is a great guy and player.

This is not sad, this is great. It's not great for moonglade of course. Him having personal problems sucks and I really hope it works out for him.

However this is great for the foreign scene, and for FXO. It's about time teams make sure their player commit fully and stay dedicated to improving their game. FXO has a plan for what they want to do to have their players achieve maximum results, and they're sticking with that. For that I respect them immensely.

I hope that other foreign teams will start to take after FXOs model. If you are a player you either commit fully, or there will be someone who's willing to do that to take your place.

And once again I really do hope moonglade is able to work his problems out, whatever they are.

Great for the foreign scene? FXO aren't even part of our scene any more, sure they have foreign players, but everything they do is in korea and that area.
Anyone who doesn't want to drop everything and move to another country is kicked? AND theyre kicking their best non-korean players because of that?
Thats not good.

This makes so little sense I don't even know where to begin. First of all I think FXO has set up a team house in the SEA area, outside of Korea (I can't remember the country to save my life, I'd like to say Singapore or Malaysia but I'm not very sure). This, coupled with the fact that their intentions seem to be to participate in foreign events and that they actually have foreign players, I think makes them a foreign team.

And yes, if a teams ambition is to set up a team house for its players to practise in (which I think it is generally agreed on is the best way to practise) it makes sense to let go of players who are not dedicated enough to make that happen.

If the foreign seen wants to reach the level of play of the Korean scene, which I think is a necessity for the foreign scene to survive long term and not turn into sc:bw all over, teams need to be ambitious and push their players to become better. To make that happen teams will most likely have to let go less motivated and dedicated players.

And even the best players will eventually fall behind without enough hard work, dedication and practise. This is a long term decision from FXO, betting that in a couple of months a hard working player will be better than someone who's not motivated to put in the time to practise.

I like long term planning. Hats off to FXO.

How does this fit with his IEM Cologne spot? He wont be accepting it? FXO wont be sending him?

I personally think a lot of teams could learn from FXO, there is no point having players who have lost interest or are too busy to train on your roster. If you are trying to run a business then you have to be considered stupid to keep players after they evidently stop caring or trying (not talking about glade here, just the amount of players signed after beta who have given little or no good shwoings in 1 year).

I'm not a 100% sure but I believe IEM guys pay for travel.

You pay for your OWN travel to IEM.

But glade is still attending

Aww... the FXO tag to mOOnGLaDe has become almost a part of his ID. What could have caused this to happen ...

GL to GLaDe, hope you can resolve whatever problems you may have at hand =/

Such a shame, moonglade seemed to have that talent you dont see in everyone. Just needed the practice to iron out the kinks. Hopefully he can clear up his personal problems and get back in even stronger form. Moonglade fighting!

Seriously why am I the first one after 8 pages? TL.net traditions are being broken here.

Hope you get picked up by a good team mOOn.
Also glad to see FXO trying to become a serious team.
