I don't think you realize how much work subbing a show like this. Its not just the translation, its the editing and stuff as well. To give a comparison, it takes a sub groupe of 5ppl over 10hour to sub a 20min anime episode.
Subs come out a lot faster these days because several RAWs are released with Japanese closed captioning embedded. Nowadays a lot of speedsub groups just translate the Japanese subtitles from the close captioning without actually having to watch the episode.

Do you know how much work that would take? You'd probably be waiting 2-3 weeks for every episode. I for one am fine with the bubbles and appreciate GOM actually doing this No, I don't, but I think it would make the show a lot better. I appreciate them doing it as well, I think it's great, but if they had released it later and stacked up on some fully translated episodes I think it would've been even better.

It's a fuckton of work to subtitle such a show. Ask Roffles he'll tell you. yet the free fansub community does it on a daily basis? I'm not trying to downplay the effort they put in but these subtitles are horribly boring. And do you know how much work that requires? I know a couple sub group ppl and its a shitton of work.

I did some subbing work for a Japanese show while I was in college and it was a full time job to sub about an episode a week. That's a pretty hefty investment for a show that's probably now generating much revenue.

That was entertaining, Nestea is helping to coach then?

With timings already set and korean subtitles ready for translation it's not hard if you are a good translator, just translate a text.

That show was amazing. One of the most hilarous things I've seen in SC2 for a while.
But what a sad world we live in that people will actually go out of there way to complain about additional free content because it's not 100% perfect.

That's the point of this, they leave you wanting more so that you'll tune in to the next one.

I was just thinking, if all the foreign Zerg players follow this show and do exactly what Yellow is doing and Yellow qualifies... then all the foreign Zergs should be able to get into code A too. ^^
