In other words, the possibility of the entire situation being a misunderstanding became grossly unlikely to enter public after incorrect details like EG saying that Puma approached them first being repeated over and over.

Now the only thing I care about is that EG doesn't ruin PuMa, because then I'll be quite annoyed. Take care of him! Edit: After rereading this, it's not really an apology. You sir are a master of saying one thing while doing another.

I think it's understandable that the TSL coach got angry. Puma wasn't under contract so you had every right to talk to him, but it could've probably been done with more respect to his team. I wish the first response from EG had been this thread, not the whole ****storm with Milkis... This said, grats on the signing. EG.Puma for the win!

Meaning; InControl has made it easy to dislike EG for alot of people, nobody second guesses news about EG at the NASL (which in itself made a poor impression) stealing a player from a Korean team... it just seems like a thing you guys would do and not because I'm judgmental but because that's the impression I've got after so many projects regarding InControl+EG.

The only part I have a problem with is then approaching a player at a tournament. I feel like that is not the correct place for teams to be discussing contract opportunities with players Apparently they were approaching a lot of players. PuMa is just the only one that has bitten so far.

There has been plenty of interaction between Western and Korean professional organizations lately, yet this is the only one where one side seems extremely upset.

When djWheat asked AG on WOC whether in retrospect, would he have contacted the coach directly? He said no. What I don't understand is why he wouldn't knowing that it is what the coach would've wanted, knowing that doing so would've avoided most of this drama at basically the cost of a couple minutes of his time. For a guy that has preached about EG spending years building infrastructure for e-sports, building ties with the community, you wouldn't even do this? I know "the plan" was to have Puma talk to the coach but when reaching out to players in a unfamiliar environment, at least try to show you care.

I'm not sure what you read, but not a single one of AG's supposed "misunderstandings" are at all acceptable for a serious organization. Full stop.

Milkis wasn't even the messenger. PlayXP was the messenger. Milkis was just translating what the messenger said. If anything, EG should be pissed at PlayXP for putting up the article before Puma was officially signed. Milkis did nothing wrong. If he didn't translate the article, someone else would have.

I also recall Xeris saying its common for teams to approach players that are nearing end of contract in a friendly manner with the whole "if you ever want to talk just call" attitude.

coL comes to an agree with MVP over Genius and DRG Dignitas and ZeNEX come to a mutual agreement, as TanDongHo is going to live in Europe this fall EG comes to a conclusion with PuMa to join forces, TSL has no knowledge of the transaction One of these things are not like the others, one of these things just doesnt belong ~

The thing is EG shouldn't have spoken to Puma first in the first place. If EG was interested in another team's player, they should've gone directly to the that team's manager. Then this whole thing wouldn't have happened. You don't speak to a player from another team with any intentions of contraction until you've gone to management. That's just out of respect for the opposing team. What someone else mentioned, EG might've put forth the wheels in motion for the Korean SC2 scene to develop a Kespa type infrastructure here.
