They recruited a player who just won 50k, not sure his head was clear. At least, Puma will be able to fund the EG house :D

I have to agree with this.

Regardless of whether Puma actually talked to his couch and team about this, EG should not of been approaching Puma directly, this is a slap in the face to the team management and is player poaching.

I can't blame Puma at all for wanting to join EG, infact it makes a lot of sense for more koreans to be partnering up with international teams as there is a lot more money and fans for them to be making internationally.

And I think this kind of action bring a bad rep to foreign teams. Koreans will lose respect for us if our teams are taking their players in such shameful ways.

The question is, will Korean teams be more hesitant to send players to our competitions because of this? This actually makes me think of North Korean defectors This is why any "talent" that leaves the DPRK comes with a military escort to ensure that they don't defect. Will this be the new trend in eSports? The manager travels with their players to ensure no poaching?

Without a league to enforce some sort of anti-tampering rules (i.e. in NFL, NBA, MLB), sadly, there's nothing to be done about situations like this. This even happens in the professional world - a lot of non-competes get broken and employees get poached even while they are "under contract."

That's exactly what should/ will happen. If I were a coach, I would travel with them and make sure to monitor their activity with other team management.
Why would you ever choose failure, when success is an option.

Dear TSL,

P.S. Sangho will probably leave soon too.

Very dirty of EG to do this without TSL's knowledge. Kinda like if the Bulls were to swoop in and steal Lebron James without going through the coaches and administration. Even if Lebron gets a higher salary, you still want to let the Heat know what's up.

In professional sports like the NBA managers make decisions regarded trades and buyouts if the players are still under a contract. If the player is a free agent, then they can talk to whoever they want. In E-sports, there doesn't been to any umbrella organization in NA, or anything that links NA to KR. Players can pretty much do what the please.

Anyways, TSL seems to be falling apart right now. As for EG, hopefully Puma can teach them some good practice regiments so Idra isn't the only one advancing in tournaments.

This is bad for TSL. First Rain, then Trickster, then FruitDealer and now PuMa. I think that unless they get some new talent soon, TSL might end up either disbanding entirely or being consumed by another progaming team at this rate.

Well you might see more guys like Sk.reis around when Koreans travel. I believe he helps most of the guys that go to Europe and is respected in Korea so I can picture teams going to guys like him and asking them to stick with the players.

This gives my fantasy league a bit better standing since I still have alive who hasn't done anything.

On actual topic, I don't know about this, I feel more details need to be released. Whether or not Puma was still under a contract (since TSL is a team with salaried players). Obviously Puma can do what he wants with his life, but I feel there should have been some loyalty to his team.

I think thats a BS comment by TSL coach: "foreign teams stealing korean players". They make it sound like the world is a terrible plague that "stole the life" from their player. Wish him the best and move on. And why are people pissed at EG? They just got a powerhouse player, be happy.

Congrats EG, he will add alot of strength to your lineup.

oh and will he be living in the team house?

Picture you were the coach. Your young player goes overseas to compete in an event. He comes back and tells you he wants/thinking to leave the team for a foreign team. I imagine you would be outraged.

Then picture yourself offering him more money and perks than the foreign team did and him saying, "you're right, I really did want to stay on my team and play in my homeland."

You really don't get it do you. It's all well and fine that they can pay him more and that he left. It's just how it happened that caused this. I'm sure if TSL and Puma were spoken to then none of this drama would have happened. Please remove your fanboy blinds and actually think.

Anyway cool to see Puma at more events and best of luck to him.

You really don't get it do you? TSL could have kept him if they wanted and could afford it. they couldn't and they are mad so they are starting a shitstorm about it. Take off your villainy glasses and see it for what it is. TSL is falling apart and the coach doesn't like it. Starts whining publically. It's retarded to think that Scoots has to go and talk to TSL's coach to make an offer to one of his players, write your contracts better and pay the player what he's worth. One of the problems with Kespa was that it treated (and treats) players like cattle. Lucky, SC2 doesn't have that problem.
Caster duos should compliment each others' strengths. "You look very handsome today, Tasteless."
