i hope i am not wrong at trhat point.. but he said that fOu Leadership declared things a bit wrong in Public and that their arent 2 teams but 1 team FXO with two divisions... he also states that he is going to provide the team with money and fOu provides management and contacts.. that pretty much sounds to me that he "bought" it...and fOu couldnt handle the financial part on their own any longer.... correct me if i am wrong...and sry if i am and apologiez for my bad english...

However you should realise MC along with other players have repayed their teams with money.

It might enforce good practices with contracts and clear situations to avoid such mess. Of course, coach Lee and TSL might here suffer from this but in the long run, it could be good for the players. I'm curious though about how many pro players play in known teams without any sort of contract.

However, unless the contract was properly notarized and signed it isn't legally binding. If he was under contract but it wasn't a legally binding one (aka not properly notarized and certified) then he was free to leave. It was, essentially a Gentleman's agreement. He could have left at any time he chose to. If this is the case (and to be fair I don't know if it is) then, while underhanded, it was completely legal. This is something which actually, Sir Scoots mentioned on an episode of Live on Three but I think is completely accurate, that as esports continues to grow I think we need to start taking contracts more seriously and doing things like properly notarizing them and creating a framework by which they actually become legally binding.

We are not under the same type of agreement as oGs.TL. FXO has aquired fOu, it iwll become FXO. Acquired sounds similar to buy to me. Anyway am I the only one who doesn't see anything wrong with it ? Isnt it should be up to the PLAYER to decide for wich team he wants to play on? PuMa didn't had a contract right? If he didn't , then there is no problem, of course it's another story if he had one but I would still be ok with it I think. Since when did a player switching teams became illegal ?

No Contract, No Problem. If there was a contract in place, then there have been two recent events where contracts in eSports have been breached by organizations recruiting players. Breaching/Voiding contracts is a serious offense and diminishes the credibility of all those involved, trickling down to industry's perception by outsiders. Until more information is released I will restrain final judgment.

So what's going to happen to Puma now? I assume he'll move out of the TSL house but where does he go? I'm sure he'll still have practice partners on bnet but I would not be shocked if some of the TSL players gave him the cold shoulder.
